Stone Salon

Stone Salon has been a special place for me over the years! I grew up with Ms. Joanne cutting my hair and always had a positive experience with her and all the staff! I have since moved away and missed going into her salon. I came back into town this past week and saw on the salon’s social media that they had a beautiful sweatshirt in stock (in the boutique part of the salon)! They also had some other cute merchandise! I came into the salon to pickup the sweatshirt, and to my surprise Ms. Joanne was working in the boutique area! I was able to catch up with her briefly while she grabbed the size I needed. She was just as lovely and kind as I had remembered her! So thankful for the wonderful memories and positive experiences from Stone Salon over the years!

I absolutely love going to Stone Salon for my "Me Time!" I go in feeling like someone’s scrub woman, and leave feeling pampered, cared for, and a fashionista!! All of the girls are so Intuned with their clients and I have never been disappointed!! Kirstie is the best; I have followed her all over town! I have never had to wait, and I love that Kirstie isn’t doing more than one client at a time! She gives me her undivided attention!

I’m absolutely blown away with my experience at Stone Salon today! I deeply appreciate Joanne (stylist/owner) and Heather (stylist) who were genuinely warm and welcoming to me as I needed a color correction from differently salon and stylist. They took time to actively listen to me and fit me into their busy day to complete what is now one of my favorite hair color/styles of all time! It immediately boosted my confidence and made me feel like myself again. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 25+ years and can honestly say this salon and talented team is something special! Stone Salon has gained a new and loyal client in me today! The quality and value of their services are incredible! Needless to say, I quickly rebooked my next appointment!

If I could give this salon ZERO stars I would. I had to make an appointment several months ago with Kimmie for January 3rd since she books up so quickly. When I called this morning to confirm, since I did not got a confirmation text/call from them, I was told that the appointment was canceled since her kids are out of school this week and would have to wait several more months to get an appointment with her. This was the first I was told that my appointment was canceled. I was NEVER contacted prior to ask me to reschedule or to even let me know that they were canceling my appointment. I have lived all over the country and NEVER experienced this lack of professionalism at any salon. I rarely write reviews and always give businesses the benefit of the doubt, however in this case, this salon failed miserably. Not sure why it has so many positive reviews. Would also like to point out that I took time off work for this appointment. Obviously the clients’ time is not as important as the stylist’s time.

Kandace is the best! She has been doing my hair for the past 5 years and has NEVER missed the mark. I show her what I want done, and she executes it PERFECTLY and even better than I could have imagined. She is extremely honest and informative when making big changes/switching things up. If anyone is looking for a new stylist, book with Kandace!

Disappointed with the services I received yesterday. I scheduled an appointment for a wash, dry, cut, and style with Heather. When I got there it seemed like she didn't want to wash my hair and said she preferred to dry cut. I was fine with that, but once I got to her chair it was the fastest haircut I had ever received. A total of 5 minutes in the chair. I explained I wanted my hair just below my shoulders and that she could add layers to it. She asked why I wanted layers and I explained that I've always had them. She continued to do a straight cut (rushing through it) stating I looked better with a straight cut. After I paid, I went to my car and not 2 minutes later I saw her leave the salon and drive away. This just confirms that she really didn't want to provide me with quality service and just wanted to rush me out of her chair so she could leave. In addition, I had to clean up some spots where she didn't cut my hair evenly. I'll never go back to this salon again.

Hii I’ve been going to stone salon for a few years now I’ve tried other salons while traveling and just wanted to say this is one of the best! They are always so attentive to my needs asking all the right questions so my hair comes out perfectly how I want it. Recently I went and while Kristie was in the process of coloring my hair I asked for a smudge and she did one perfectly, sadly, my impression of what a smudge was and what a smudge actually is was a little off 😅 I honestly thought it looked fine but my mom-ager didn’t so I called back and she immediately scheduled me for the next appointment she had available and fixed my hair perfectly. She was so sweet when fixing my hair especially for it being my mistake and it ended up being free including a styling (I have super curly hair so that means a lot haha) anyways I would totally recommend stone salon especially Kristie and Britney (the only two hair dressers I’ve had my hair done by)
