This review is a long time coming. I tried to move on from it, but it keeps popping up in my head. It's almost the new year so I'm going to write this review and hopefully never be reminded of it again. The incident happened while I worked extremely long, graveshift hours. I wanted a hair wash and french braid (no blow out, just a wet briad) before my work week started, so I came in extremely early around 1 or 2 pm (work started at 6) I cannot french braid myself, trust me I have tried. I figured if anything a trained hairstylist can do this for me, with my chest length (pretty long) hair for an easy fee plus tip on my end. I wanted a double french (two pig tails) but I told the woman (I dont recall her name now, but trust me the trauma remains) I could settle for 1. I went there, a large lady, whose name I cannot recall offered to do this for me as a walk in. So she washes my hair (great) and then starts playing with my hair. She gives a few scoffing grunts and says "you know, I can't do this, your hair is just too thick." (narrator: I do not have thick hair.) I ask her can you do a single simple (non french) braid she says "sure" I am trying to compromise at this point. And also I explained to her as long as I get something tight (I worked in a clean room at the time) that stays while I was in my bunny suit it would be great. Please understand I am not a karen, I am an overly accommodating person and have people pleasing syndrome. I am shortening the experience. She repeatedly played with my hear lifting it and dropping it back on my body, like she disliked it, like it irritated her. She leaves me with my hair dripping wet, does a single braid that ends up falling apart 5 minutes later in my car ride and charged me $40 dollars for it. I was in a hurry and did not feel like getting in a confrontation, I've also had been made to believe things about my hair in the past that weren't true (hard to work with) so I just accepted it (my parents took me to some cheap haircuts in the past that's why I have some mistrust there.) The worst part is I have gaslighted myself and so I believed her that my hair was the problem, until the hair fell apart in the car as I drove home. I realized I could have done a single, simple braid for myself better than this and I'm not a certified beauty anything! you know I realized also there's people with extremely curly hair that can get braids done for them...so you know what I did folks? I rushed to a nearby latino owned salon that very day t that I knew based in downtown beaverton and I asked them if they could do me a french braid real fast (it was 3 pm at this point.) The did me better they did two french braids and only charged me 30 dollars. I lost the before and after photos. But the sting still remains. I was swindled, verbally gaslighted and made to feel inferior about my looks, all because the hairstylist at this salon most likely either 1) cannot do braids 2) chose not to because of laziness and just wanted easy money from me. It really really hurt. It messed me up. You know how you cannot understand how some people chose to lie and abuse others? Well this was one of those times. The behavior was just so petty and unbelievable I blocked it out. But every once and a while I'll be trying to do something with my own hair and I'll remember how that lady made me feel - like it was my fault she couldn't do a single braid and how my hair literally was dripping wet and the braid fell apart while I was driving out the parking lot. And that I paid 40 bucks for that, and literally for what? FOR WHAT? Find yourself a POC owned salon or spa and you will never be worried about whether a person can do a simple french braid or any braids.

I would highly don’t recommend getting a keratin hair treatment here , unfortunately i got it done in the beginning of September and it disappeared after few washes!! Mind you they told me it was $150 but when i came back i paid around $230 and they said that the shampoo and conditioner were offered for free when they were obviously sold to me 🤦🏻‍♀️ , my hair went back to curly in few washes which has NEVER HAPPENED to me When i did keratin treatments before!! I literally wasted money on a treatment that barely lasted a week😒

Just had my nails done by Crystal and I could not be happier! I can’t stop looking at them. She took her time and took my special design request with no hesitation. She was easy to talk to and asked if I liked my nails every step of the way. I will definitely be coming back here for self care in the near future. Thank you, Crystal and Tresor Day Spa for making my birthday wish for cute nails come true!!

I had a great experience at this salon. The staff were friendly and attentive, and took the time to listen to what I wanted. My haircut turned out even better than I imagined, and the cut was perfect. I felt pampered the entire time and felt very confident in my new look. Highly recommend!

I have been getting my lashes done for 6+ years by Maria. She is always detail oriented, has amazing last retention and is good at making them look fluffy yet natural. This spa is very quiet and easy to relax. I wouldn’t go to any else besides Maria.
