Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Hillsboro

What a pleasant and relaxing experience! This was my first time to visit a Madison Reed shop and I will be going back when it's time to refresh my color. I was greeted very promptly and pleasantly and I felt at ease there. It was clean and bright and everyone was very friendly and upbeat. It was a very busy morning but Amy was so helpful, engaged, professional, and interested in helping me to pick the color that would work well for me--she didn't rush through it even though they were busy. She asked a lot of questions, which I very much appreciated as I was nervous about having my hair colored. She suggested a Demi-permanent to try out the color to be sure I'll continue to love it--in their lighting, my lighting at home, and outside lighting (so far, I love it!). The results are beautiful, rich, and lovely. I also did the glossing treatment as I was curious what that would do. My hair is so soft and shiny! It doesn't smell like chemicals either--the scent is light. I like that you can blow dry your own hair there so that helps with costs. I wish I'd tried MR sooner! Thank you Amy!

Madison Reed has improved so much since my last visit in 2023! From the moment I walked in, Carole greeted me warmly, asked how my day was, and even got me some tea. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced—it made me feel truly welcomed. Melissa has done a fantastic job taking over management. Everything runs more smoothly now, and the customer service is noticeably better. You can really see the positive changes! Great work, team—keep it up! I knew there was a reason I came back, even though my past experiences weren’t as great. So glad to see the improvement!

I had a very good experience. My colorist Amy was attentive and engaged and really invested in helping me achieve the color I wanted. All the other employees I encountered were pleasant and welcoming. It was a great first visit!

Every time I go my hair is always better. The color is perfect. I love Madison Reed. So happy I found this place 2 years ago when they opened. Savannah did an amazing job today. But I have to say that all the colorists there are wonderful. Melissa has done my hair several times. Ally as well. I’m pleased with the results each time. They keep notes on my hair colors and understand what to do each time. 🤗😊

Lovely experience: Amy did some magic with the most natural looking balayage while making the previously lightened ends look cohesive with everything! The other staff were so kind and engaging. Normally dread going to the salon, but this was a great experience and execution on my vision.

For the disappointment last visit... this visit it was much better! My hair is restored back to original , with much better and shiny ! I'm not going to try anything new anymore and probably going to stick with this color code for quite some time. Thanks for restoring my hair! I'm glad they were able to fix their mistakes! Looks like similar experience happened with many customers over a month and little did I realize I also had a same situation and disappointment. Giving them another chance, they did good today!

Always the best! I have been going here for years. As a cancer survivor I am so happy MR has no bad chemicals or no ammonia smell ! Carol and Allie are wonderful colorists and always fun to chat with and very professional. I love Madison Reed!
