La Tierra Salon & Day Spa

I had an appointment with Stephanie. She was fantastic! She listened to exactly what in was looking for and she made sure before she cut the face framing layers that she was cutting the length I wanted. Everyone at the salon were super kind and welcoming. Also, it’s the first salon I’ve been to that offers a complimentary drink to each guest! Definitely recommend this hidden gem! If you go, ask to have Stephanie be your stylist!

I’ve been getting my hair done with Tay since her time in cosmetology school and now see her every couple months for color and cut. I swear she gets better every time I see her. Every time I come in with a new idea for my hair she takes the time to listen and understand what it is I’m wanting. She’s the only stylist I trust with my hair.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love my hair! Stephanie did an amazing job with my cut, color, and gloss — and I’m super picky when it comes to my hair. She took the time to really understand what I wanted, and the results were perfect. I’ll only trust Stephanie with my hair from now on! Plus, she’s so fun to spend time with — the whole experience was great from start to finish.

Paige is incredible! I’ve been to her twice now and it’s been about a month since my last appointment and I’m still so thrilled with how my hair looks. I acknowledged that I’m starting to get a lot of grays and I feel like she took that into consideration when doing my highlights. It’s growing out so nicely!

I’m firmly disappointed with the quality and technique at La Tierra. I communicated exactly what I wanted (even the stylist acknowledged the reference pictures), yet the execution fell far short. The lack of layering and the botched color made the final look flat and unprofessional. For the premium price I paid, I expected expert results, but instead I’ll have to spend more money elsewhere to fix this cut and color. I left the salon feeling upset and self-conscious about my hair. Needless to say, I do not plan on returning to La Tierra Salon. I rarely post reviews like this, but I want to warn others: if you’re looking for a proper butterfly cut or a beautiful balayage, this is not the place.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Skyler for I think 3 years now and am always so happy with how it turns out! She is very attentive to details, checks in with me on the length etc as she goes, and is always so friendly and fun to chat with. The salon is always clean and all the employees are nice and easy going.
