For years, my entire family has been loyal patrons of Alex Arts Hair Salon, and for good reason! Alex, the mastermind behind the magic, is more than just a skilled stylist – he's an absolute gem. Alex saved me from a bad haircut from a different salon a last year and I've been going to him ever since. He did a great job at listening to what I wanted and really delivered the look I was after. I get compliments on my hair all the time now.

My family and I have been to this place for years and this time I got extremely disappointed with Alex’s service. It is not only so unprofessional and with low quality of service. I was refused to do coloring by the stylist who accepted by my hair coloring booking at the first place but tried all means to not perform the service when I got there. I understood that sometime he is not capable to make the color perfect so I accepted to only do the haircut. But he then cut my hair with attitude and messed up my hair by cutting it randomly - it’s done in 5minutes with my hair didn’t look even on both side. He told me that’s all he can do and if I’m not satisfied he will not charge me - "doing it free for me". I was so pissed when seeing myself in the mirror as I’ve kept my hair for a year to keep the length and quality for doing a better style next time, but now it’s much thinner and shorter… I requested him to tweak it better for me but got denied. I was heart broken. I don’t know why it happened but it is the worst hair cutting experience I’ve ever had in my life.

I used to get my hair done in the city but Alex’s Art Hair Salon has become my reliable go-to for hair cut and touch ups. Don’t let the unassuming location on White Plains road fool you - he is very good! From my first "trial" visit - he listened to my request and intuitively knew what will work so gave me better option/ideas for a better solution. He is always professional and accommodating to my requests. I’ve been disappointed with so many places so I used to hesitate going to a hair salon but am very happy to have discovered this salon! Highly recommended!

All around excellent professional and friendly service! I got a haircut and partial highlights to frame my face. Alex was really thorough in making sure I got the color I was looking for (Ash Blonde). I had asked for more of a "trim" while also keeping the shape of my long layers. Anywhere else I've gone, it ends up being way shorter than I had hoped. But Alex was so thoughtful, checked in with me before he cut the first strand that it was the length I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE this salon! It's about 45 minutes from where I live but it is definitely worth the drive. I've been to this salon twice and loved my hair each time. Alex takes his time with your hair so you know that he wants to make it look as beautiful as possible. His technique is flawless and he knows exactly what your hair needs. Definitely will be coming back here whenever I need a new hair style!

My roots were a two toned mess when I came in and Alex chose the exact color to fix them. Now they look great and match the rest of my hair perfectly, and all my grey hair is gone. Plus, my hair has never been styled so well at the end of an appointment. It was nice to leave with my hair looking so good. I’ve definitely found my favorite hair salon.
