I have naturally curly hair and I had not yet found a hairdresser who knew how to cut it. I called Studio West because of the reviews. Dawn made an appointment for me! She was very personable. Ron cut my hair beautifully! I am so pleased when I look in the mirror. Thank you

Ron took my long lifeless, stringy hair and cut it into a perfect A-line giving it fullness and life great highlights even my bald spot is less noticeable Dawn did my brows and let me tell you they were a mess and now they are beautiful, had fun while there they are lively and energetic just an all around great experience. I am pretty again, thank you so much!

I’m mixed with black and white, my hair is beyond unmanageable!! It’s course and so thick, consequently it gets matted and tangles up really easy. I had a few bad experiences with non black hair stylist doing my hair. So for the last 20+years I only let black stylist do my hair. Yesterday I googled black hair salons. Even though they do advertise they are specialized in textured hair, you will read later that they are PRO’S at any hair texture. I called the salon. I spoke to Dawn, and I told her I had a few huge knots (like dreadlocks) and might have to cut them out after working on them the night before for 2 hours, and one one was beyond repair "so it seemed". Dawn gave me the break down of what she could try, so I went in. Her confidence and display of pure determination, made me say even if she wasn’t a woman of color I was going to give her a shot. She took her time not to hurt me as much as she could. Obviously with these type of tangles it has to hurt a little, but for the most part it wasn’t that bad. She kept checking in with me. So very sweet and determined not to have to cut them out, after I told her after the 2nd hour if she has to cut them out she could. I really thought that in the end my hair would not be salvageable. Wow was I wrong! She had put my hair in the wash bowel and applied the moisturize back into my hair. I had used Cantu Co Wash and another product, Shea Moisture that literally stripped the hair of any nutrients and the Shea Moisture left it with a wax/glue like feel that literally made the matted parts like a birds nest 🐦🐤 "4 hours later" sponge bomb tone lmao, my hair was totally untangled and she had also put some more products in my hair and put me under the hair dryer, with a plastic cap. The heat and products gave my hair life again. She and her husband Ron are 2 of the most nicest and genuinely cared about me and refused to let me cut my hair off. I started to tear up from happiness, the night before I was so distraught of the thought of losing my hair. I will be coming back in 2 weeks for Ron to address my grays, and have Dawn give me a facial and do my eyebrows. Yes she does all that too! Dawn you saved my life yesterday! ❣️❣️❣️❣️

The guy who cut my hair was very nice and also entertaining too. The lady gave me the best wash my hair has ever had. They are very personable. The place was clean and super nice. Good music playing and the other customers were happy and upbeat. This is a must visit.

Ron has magic hands! I have curly hair and he knew EXACTLY what to do! So grateful I’ve found my new hairstylist here in Fresno! Thank you so much and can’t wait to get my next haircut

So pleased with this Salon! Ron did a cut from a picture and it looked better than the photo! He and his wife are friendly, professional and have reasonable prices! I will be returning:)
