I consulted with her for a color service (I gave her so many Pinterest inspo) and she understood the assignment- she will also be honest and let you know what will look the best for you! She cares about her customers and will make sure you leave LOVING your hair. She’s also so incredibly patient with my thick hair even if it will take 5 hours to do a full head of highlights/lowlights. 10/10 BOOK WITH HANNIA!!

I’ve been going to Rachel for about a year now and each time I leave my appointment glowing because she’s so passionate which transforms to incredible work. Not only has my hair never been more beautiful, but it’s really healthy too thanks to her knowledge and direction. From the bang trims, to the highlights, she’s just the best.

A spa so nice they named it Twice! Best massage and stylists, most beautiful ambiance in Frederick! I feel as if I stepped into Charleston each time I walk in. Jeff and Zack are my two I have worked with, and I will be a repeat customer!! I have not ventured yet in life to do a mani pedi, but perhaps one of these days.

I went to New York New York Salon for the first time today, it is a beautiful salon and I had a wonderful experience! I went in for cut and color, my stylist was Jill. She was amazing! She’s currently still in training but she listened to my concerns about my hair (how to protect it and keep the color fresh), was fun and friendly, she asked what I was looking to do today and gave me some of her own suggestions. I like more fun hair colors but ones that are toned down enough to be suitable for work. The color she mixed (red & purple) turned out beautifully! She had the skills to cut my hair into an angeled bob with undercut and that also turned out great! I definitely enjoyed my "me" time today and will be returning, to see Jill again in 6 weeks!

NY NY is my favorite salon in town. The staff & service is great and they all take care of you well. Everyone is warm, polite and definitely gives you that elevated experience. Shout out to Ryan, he’s wonderful with hair. He listens, advises and executes as expected. He knows his art and does it with passion. 10/10 overall!

I came in this week and asked for a big chop a a wolf cut, and it didn’t turn out exactly as I had hoped. I won’t mention the stylist because it’s definitely partly my fault for just saying wolf cut and not communicating much else or showing pictures of wolf cuts and pointing out what I like and dislike. I ended up calling and asking if it would be possible to come back in to change some things. I am very glad I did, or else I would’ve never met Zac. I have been getting a wolf cut for years and it is very difficult to find a stylist who can do a good wolf cut. It’s always either not enough layers, or layers are too long, or layers look too blunt, or the he layers don’t blend into the bangs well. I’ve left many salons crying. Thankfully the initial stylist did a fine haircut, it just wasn’t a wolf cut, so there was still plenty to work with. I asked for someone who is known for doing good shags or wolf cuts, and they recommended Zac. Zac gave me the BEST wolf cut I have ever had. Like I try to keep my expectations low since it’s definitely a more difficult cut, but Zac has set the bar pretty damn high. He did exactly what I was envisioning. My hair perfectly tapers into a V shape, my bangs are blending perfectly into the layers, the length of the layers are absolutely perfect. I don’t think I have ever been this satisfied with a haircut. He was also just a really chill person and a pleasure to talk to. I don’t really have curly hair, and I’ve made many attempts at forcing my hair to be more wavy/curly to no avail. Tried the TikTok plopping trend, didn’t work for me. Zac showed me a way of blow drying my hair with a diffuser that I hadn’t seen before, and showed me how to get the most perfect voluminous waves that are perfect for this cut, which I didn’t even know was attainable with my hair. I am so glad I went back and I am very happy that they were extremely understanding and didn’t charge me for the second cut.

I recently to moved to this area from Howard County, and went to NYNY looking for a new permanent stylist. FYI, I have been professionally coloring my roots and highlighting my hair for over 30 years, and have been loyal to my past stylists for years ( and 2 for a decade each!), due to their fantastic customer service and care of my hair. I don’t mind paying hundreds of dollars for my hair each month, both because I value the quality of a professional job and because it is what I have been doing for more than 30 years. I saw Destin for a root color and cut, with plans to come back for more highlights. My hair was legit ORANGE ( hot root!!!!), and you could see that my roots did not match the rest of hair at all. Both my husband, friends and sister told me it looked terrible. I hesitated to go in to have them fix it because I no longer trusted them with my hair, but I did anyway since I had paid hundreds of dollars and I also had no other place I knew of to go. They agreed to a "re-do"……. Destin had another stylist color my roots with a " new and improved formula" to " get rid of the brass"….. I now have an almost black colored scalp with my blonde highlights ruined. The Owner ( Mary) flat looked me in the face both with my orange roots, and my deep brown/ black roots, and told me that she saw nothing wrong with either dye job. She is so full of crap, I don’t know how she can lie like that right to your face. I will NEVER step foot in that place again, and will have to drive to my old salon to have this fixed. I hope they know that they’ve lost THOUSANDS of future dollars to a very loyal new customer, and will let everyone in my neighborhood know how bad this place is. Pretty dumb business move you guys! And your customer service stinks. I’m now embarrassed of my hair and don’t want to leave the house.
