Juan's haircuts are almost unsurpassable. He is a true professional. His cutting techniques make my hair behave so well. I am a very happy customer. 🙂

I was a customer here for 9 years and recently had to reschedule an appointment due to a work conflict. I was then told I was no longer allowed as a customer. Horrible customer service from Juan, the owner (Yanira was great). Good riddance

I got an amazing hair cut from Juan! I have thick, curly hair and Juan was able to remove some volume, so my curls aren't completely weighed down. I love my new hair and I'll definitely be getting my hair cut from here again.

" Buyer Beware : Overpriced, Snobby Attitude, and Sterilization issues " : I have a stylist . I have used since I was a teenager . However over the years; I came into this salon .If my stylist is on vacation or an emergency 🚨. When I can’t see my stylist . The place is nice on the outside. Inside is ok a bit run down. It could use a paint job. Usually one of the owners daughters did my hair over the years . She has a good attitude for the most part. However, Last time I came in. The owner Juan , did my hair . I was eating oatmeal. He basically took it out of my hand and told me to put it in an area. He also was schooling me on how ro apply a gel product. (That I bought from the salon to try. ) The way he said it was snobbish and off putting . His whole attitude was snobby eww 😷. After my experience with this guy , I will never come back . I also think they Google clients . Because something was said , that only someone that googled me would know . I have blogs and stuff up . ( Not a big deal but so tacky and unprofessional not to mention off putting. ) So that was a bit off setting . Being humble goes a long way for any stylist . Even on newbury street , in Boston they are not as snobby as this place . The price I didn’t mind paying . Because , I only came to this place over the years for an emergency. However for a salon in the middle of nowhere , it’s a bit over priced . Also the towel they used on my head was damp. He said it was because it was cold . I did not find this explanation feasible. He also took a comb he used on my hair from a stingy draw . These are sterilization issues. Also sometimes when a place has little reviews they have friends and family give them five stars ⭐️ so it looks good on Google . When in all reality it’s not , so Buyer Beware .

Juan is the best in the business. I was a client even before he opened his own business. I’m a very self conscious person and there has never been a time I’ve left his salon and felt anything but beautiful and confident. Everyone needs Juan in their life.

I’ve been seeing Juan for cuts and color for something like 10 years (I even drive out of my way since moving), but unfortunately, he lost a client today. I understand that stylists are not required to wear masks right now, however, I asked him kindly if he would wear one to protect me due to some serious health issues I’m dealing with. I really didn’t think it would be an issue, but he absolutely refused. After 10 years, he doesn’t care about me as a person at all. 2 stars, because he gives a great cut, but sadly, I won’t be returning.

Very talented professionals. I have very thin, scant hair, yet Juan Sotelo can work miracles with the right cut. His staff is friendly, accommodating, and reliable. I have seen some of their bridal and event hair creations and they are spectacular. Yanira's artistry in make-up is flawless. I highly recommend this hair studio to any one looking for quality and great attention to detail.
