Ainsley B has been doing my hair for over a year now, and I can honestly say she has completely brought it back to life. I’ve seen her three times so far, and each appointment just keeps getting better. My hair is healthier than it’s been in years, truly stronger, shinier, and actually growing again. What I love most about Ainsley is that she truly cares and focuses on the health of your hair and makes sure you leave feeling confident and educated on how to maintain it. You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, and that makes all the difference. She also creates the most comfortable, welcoming environment. I’ve walked in feeling my absolute worst and left feeling like the best version of myself. It honestly feels like a makeover and a therapy session all in one and that’s exactly what amazing girls do for each other. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your hair like it’s her own, Ainsley is your girl. 💛

I feel like this place is only rated high because of the aesthetics and styling. But the haircut itself is not great. Sarah cut my hair months ago. I told her I wanted layers and when I wash my hair and blow dried the next day, my layers were super choppy and uneven. A lot of these stylists are pretty new so they are not great at haircuts. It only looks pretty when they curl it after the cut. I was gonna post a review months ago, but forgot to but here are pictures. Obviously my hair is not straight right now, but you can tell my left side has a lot of layers and my right side has none. Plus the layers don’t blend in.

I had my hair done by Mya. My hair is really long and thick, and I hadn’t had it cut in over a year. Mya was absolutely FANTASTIC! My haircut is beautiful and the treatments she did on my hair have totally brought it back to life! I’m beyond pleased, to say the least! I just happened upon y’all’s studio on google since my stylist moved and I needed to find a new one. I will definitely be coming back for all my salon needs! I loved the vibe and Mya was so sweet. 10 outa 10, highly recommend!

I came into Maven Salon with no appointment and as a first-time client, in a total rush trying to get ready for my birthday. However, May and Jennifer still managed to get me in right away, even with their schedule already packed. That alone says so much about their professionalism and kindness! What truly impressed me was that I didn’t even show them a reference photo. Somehow, they completely read my mind and delivered exactly what I wanted, a perfect, soft beach-wave curls. My hair turned out better than I could have imagined, and it held beautifully all night. Being in the salon itself is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming, it genuinely feels homey. You can tell the team enjoys being there; all the girls were chatting and laughing, which made the whole experience relaxing and fun rather than rushed or stressful. This was hands down one of the best salon experiences I’ve had in DFW area. If you’re looking for talented stylists who truly listen, work magic under pressure, and make you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. Maven salon it is! And I will 100% be coming back!

TLDR: I stopped trusting hair salons until Courtney fixed my absolutely tragic dye job and made my hair look better than it has in years. She’s intuitive, thoughtful, amazing with color and layers, and actually listens instead of just cutting. I’ve never left disappointed and she’s also just a genuinely great human. Would follow her to the moon. I 10 out of 10 recommend. Full Review: I cannot recommend Courtney enough. Truly. If she Maven moved to the moon, I’d be asking where to board the rocket. I had completely stopped going to hair salons before I found her. Somewhere along the way, I got a horrible dye job… like, grow it out and emotionally recover levels of bad. My plan was honestly just to chop everything off and move on with my life. I have a LOT of hair, it’s heavy, and I was pretty much done trusting anyone with it. Then I went to Courtney. Our first appointment was about getting my hair back to my natural color, and not only did she fix it, she made it look beautiful. The color looked completely natural, glossy, healthy, and she even added subtle tones that reminded me of my hair when I was younger. It had this shine and warmth that I didn’t even realize I was missing. But, what really sets Courtney apart is how intuitive and thoughtful she is. She asks questions. She checks in. You never feel like she’s just "chopping away." She’s collaborating with you, actually listening, and making sure you’re comfortable with every step. Some time ago, I went in planning to get the same color again, and when I mentioned how much I loved the subtle reddish tones from before, she suggested leaning into that with a stronger red tint. I trusted her… and wow. It was gorgeous. I loved it so much that I kept it, and paired it with a wolf cut to get some serious layers (because again: so much hair). The result was incredible. Lighter, full of movement, and exactly what I wanted. I’ve had several appointments with Courtney now, and I have never once walked out thinking, "That’s not what I wanted." Not even close. She’s also incredibly honest and kind about budget. If I tell her I’m tight on money, she’ll talk through options with me and help figure out what makes sense… no pressure, no upselling, just transparency. And on top of all that? She’s just a phenomenal person. I talk to her the entire appointment—like, two straight hours—about everything from movies to politics to life. She’s warm, funny, thoughtful, and makes the whole experience feel easy and human. I’ve seen her early in the morning. I’ve seen her at the end of the day when she’s clearly exhausted. She gives the same care, effort, and attention every single time. She goes above and beyond, always. Honestly, I don’t know what else you could possibly want in a hairstylist. Courtney is incredibly talented, intuitive, hardworking, and kind. I couldn’t recommend her more.

Maven is the best salon with the best stylists 🫶🏼 Before coming to Olivia I was very apprehensive about anyone new doing my hair, since I am usually very particular about what I want my outcome to be. However, after my first appointment I was the happiest I’ve ever been with my hair, and have been going to Olivia ever since! I look forward to my appointments every two to three months, which is a luxury I can actually maintain thanks to Maven’s reasonable pricing and results that always look expensive. This is also the first salon where I trusted and enjoyed the products enough to invest in and continue purchasing them for my hair. The salon is always incredibly clean and well kept. Olivia and the rest of the staff are always inviting, warm, and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone in the DFW area, even if you live a little further away it is worth the drive, trust me!

I made the switch to this salon a couple months ago and I’m so glad I did. Sarah's the best. My hair is already growing and feels so much healthier. I always leave my appointments feeling happy and confident. The products they’ve recommended have been fantastic too!!! Even does great with extensions!
