Acute Salon

This salon is the gold standard in gender affirming hair cuts. My partner went here and Madi gave them the first haircut they ever felt good in. They left feeling cute and more happy with their body / sense of self. Madi was super patient and very helpful in picking out the right cut, and my partner will definitely be returning. I went for my own haircut, and left a little displeased. One of the owners offered to help me get it to something I was more happy with, and she nailed it. Overall, our household has had a great experience with this salon. The salon is a very warm, welcoming space, and I think everyone that visits can feel that, because of how that atmosphere has been cultivated.

Acute is honestly one of THE most incredible salons I've been in~ The space is clean, beautiful, and so welcoming. 🌈💞🎉 My barber, Mason, is one of a kind. They are so attentive to your hair requests and concerns and I just loved our conversations. 🫰🏼 My haircut is perfection! The fade is so crisp and smooth. The eyebrow cut is precise. The texture, razored top is so versatile in styling. They literally slayed~ Can't wait to keep coming back. Thank you Mason and Thank you Acute! It's nice to feel safe again 🌈💕

I called Acute Salon due to scheduling myself at a different salon that did not do full service cut and color. After my girlfriend and I called several different salons hoping to get a walk in appointment, which I knew would be slim pickings at 3 in the afternoon, Acute told me that they would be able to get me in with an apprentice! I wanted a layered cut with some longer bangs, and I wanted hair that was a deeper ashy brown with blonde highlights throughout. They set me up with Audrey, (I am not 100% sure of the spelling of her name, sorry!!!) and the owner of the shop was with us as well making sure everything went smoothly. I walked out of their salon feeling so beautiful and confident!!! My hair turned out exactly as I described. I have included photos of my hair before and after. (The 1st photo is before, the 3 after that are the after photos. There are no filters on these pictures, just different lighting.) I am so grateful they were able to take me in on such short notice! I will definitely be coming back!

Mason is the best barber I have ever been to! He has been so accommodating, asking me questions about my desired cuts and he always makes sure I’m comfortable when I am there. I have been getting cuts from him for almost a year and it has made going to see a barber such a positive experience as someone who never grew up going to a barber. I highly recommend him for skin fades as he always gets me RIGHT! I have done a Mullet, Buzz Cut, Fringe, and looking forward to trying many more new cuts with him. He does facials and shaves too which are fire! As a man who never felt like I should pamper myself like that, he truly changed my mind and opened my world to such an amazing experience. I highly recommend checking him out!

got my hair done here and the vibes were absolutely immaculate. i talked with my stylist about horror movies with occasional chime-ins from other patrons and stylists, and it was all-around just a really cool experience after having such bad luck at other places. definitely planning to go again when i get the chance, and highly recommend for both the talented stylists as well as the very relaxed and comfortable energy of the place.

Best place to get your hair done in Fort Worth. I got my perms done by Mason. I would say the hair wash done by Mason’s assistant was simply awesome. I don’t think anyone treated my hair as gentle as him🫡. Coming to Mason, he’s awesome chill guy and he’s very patient and knows what’s he’s doing. he will never let your sesh go bore. I feel like I tipped him less for what he did. I will come back in future for sure.

Everyone here always does an AMAAAAAZING job every single time I come in. I’ve had my hair done by a few different people at Acute and they all took my vision and somehow made it something even better. Everyone here is amazing at creating texture with razor cutting and giving me a clean yet super textured and styled look even without doing any actual styling on it. I’m also on the autism spectrum and can confirm they are very sensory friendly here! Everything from the hair products they use on you to the way they do your cut is super personalized to your hair type, hair health, and haircut inspo. #THEYCOOK #THEYKNOWBALL got me feeling like that tiktok audio that says "I’m so dope boi". 10/10 100% would (and actually have) recommend to anyone in need of a haircut. I particularly want to shout out Madi because while I always leave Acute Salon happy with my haircut no matter who did my hair that day, Madi’s work had me OVERJOYED like they did PHENOMENAL and I’ll probably be requesting them specifically for future appointments!!
