OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE AT TANGLE’S & LOCS SALON AND SPA – EVERETT My daughter had an exceptional experience at Tangle’s & Locs Salon and Spa in Everett. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly, patient, and incredibly skilled, taking their time to understand exactly what she wanted and ensuring she felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. Her stylist did an amazing job — gentle, professional, and detail-oriented. Her hair came out absolutely beautiful, healthy-looking, and exactly the way she envisioned it. Most importantly, she left feeling confident and happy, which meant the world to us. Tangle’s & Locs Salon and Spa truly exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a place that delivers quality, care, and an uplifting experience for both adults and kids, this salon is a top choice. We’ll definitely be returning!

Had an appointment with Faith to fix my locs that hasn't had maintenance in over a year. She was amazing! She crocheted in all my messy growout , and crocheted in some extensions where my locs were short ( puppy chewed off in my times of taking naps) All the ladies in the salon are friendly , salon has a warm vibe and was a relaxing experience. Will definitely be back for maintenence

This salon is an absolute gem! Denise makes scheduling so easy, and she’s always warm and welcoming. Tobey works hair magic every single time—I walk out feeling like I should be in a hair commercial. And Lee, the owner and stylist, has created a space that’s cozy, fun, and totally professional all at once. What I love most is that everyone fits in here. Any age, any culture, any hair type or texture — you’re getting treated like family the moment you walk in. I adore this place and recommend it with my whole heart.

I have been coming here for nearly a year and everyone (Lee, Shy, Loveness & Toby) that has touched my head has done a great job. I always get asked where did I get my hair done, which is usually a two stand twist with my own hair and a couple times with hair added. They are very professional, reasonable prices and most of all very clean (sanitize after EVERY client).

First time visiting and it was an awesome experience! Denise was amazing and got me set up with Michelle, who gave me hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

I was at this hair salon on 10/25/25. This was not my first time here and unfortunately it was the 3rd time the issue I am writing about occurred. My appointment was set for 2:30pm with a braider named Faith. I always book her whenever I go here because I like the work she does on my child's hair. Upon arrival there was no manager on duty just the braiders. After checking in I was advised that it will be a moment before our braider was ready to start working on us because she was running behind that day. I asked how long it would be and was told it would be a 2.5 hour wait before she can get to us because she was working on another client who had been there since 11:00am. 2.5 hours of waiting was of course UNACCEPTABLE and I was very infuriated at that point. Yet again, my braider was running behind and no-one had bothered to call me in advance to explain what was going on and save me a trip there if I couldn't get my service fulfilled. I do understand the falling behind in hair salons since this was not my first rodeo, but, calling me in advance to set proper expectations, instead of waiting for me to use my valuable time to get to the salon in time for my appointment only to be told to wait that long would be very much appreciated! When I expressed my frustration to the braider at the front desk Toby, she couldn't help me with the issue but told me to call the owner Lee since she had the Workphone that day and try get my issue resolved through her. I tried calling her 3 times with no answer, I left a voicemail and a text and she did not bother to respond. 1 week later when I am leaving this review, no-one has called me back. Toby then offered to have another braider who was available work on us. At this point, I had no other choice but to agree to it. Again, I always book my appointments with only 1 braider since I like her work the best, I have tried other braiders here before but their work just doesn't match up for us. The new braider did get the hair done but 1 week later, the hair is so untidy and will not last as long as I needed it to, I paid full price for sub-par work. This unfortunately isn't our first negative experience at this hair salon. The last time such a mishap happened with our appointment, there was still no manager on duty, just the braiders. My appointment was delayed because my braider did not know how to read her schedule and manage her time properly. The braiders seem to not know how to check/manage their own schedules and honor the clients' time, yet they seem to be left in charge often. With the previous occurrence, I was able to address the issue with the owner since she came in while I was still there, she promised to do better and train her braiders to manage their schedules. It is unfortunate that this is still happening. This really is not good business and as a client, I do not appreciate my time not being respected and the lack of proper communication. If the owner or manager responds to this review asking me to contact them to resolve the issue like they have on other reviews, I already tried that with no response, my message to you is to do better.

Here I got a hair cut and it was really good the service was good there was no long wait I do recommend this place. The reason I wouldn’t give this five stars is because they didn’t give me the design on my hair but good service.
