This braider in Everett is not upfront about their hair quality at all, very deceiving.I paid a lot of money thinking I was getting 100% human hair, (PER BOOKING SITE!!!!!!)but it was mostly synthetic. Her booking site explicitly stated "human hair" and didn't mention anything about synthetic hair being used. To make things worse, the picture I showed her multiple times, both when booking and during the appointment, was completely disregarded. The braids I ended up with looked nothing like the style I wanted. 90% of the hair was synthetic, she told me after the fact that she had to use synthetic hair to make the braids hold which in fact was not true. I had to take them out after only two days because they were so uncomfortable/ itchy and clearly not what I paid for. This was my first experience getting braids, and I feel like I was taken advantage of. I reached out to her to explain my disappointment and request a partial refund, but I haven't heard anything back. I said nothing disrespectful in my text message to her after several calls with her apologizing profusely saying she would redo my hair. Here is the message below Hi..... Update it took all weekend for me to to take out all braids. I purchased real hair extensions which are costly to say the least. I am putting in myself. I haven't left a negative review as of yet, however was given misleading and false information. Very unhappy client. I realize you should be compensated for your time. I am requesting 1/2 refund I think this is more than fair. Ultimately it is your decision. My zelle is under my phone number. Really not happy with this experience. Seems to be a trend with her, I really wish I would have done more research before I booked this appointment.

Extremely Unprofessional & Disrespectful of Clients’ Time I genuinely question how some of the positive reviews for Glam By Nadege are accurate, because my experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had with a hair business. I was excited to support this small business after hearing good things. Since I’m going on a birthday trip, I booked my appointment well in advance and confirmed the date multiple times—both through the booking site and directly via Instagram. Everything was approved and confirmed. The day of my appointment, I traveled two hours by public transportation to arrive on time, because I believe in respecting a stylist’s time. While I was literally on my way, the owner suddenly rescheduled my appointment four hours later. No warning. No courtesy message ahead of time. When I called immediately, there was no apology whatsoever—just excuses. I was told "you know how it is" and that the booking site "does this sometimes," which makes no sense considering appointments must be approved and were confirmed multiple times. Accountability was completely absent. I was then told the delay was due to another client still being braided. When I arrived, it was very clear that client was nowhere near finished. It honestly felt like I was pushed aside for another client (possibly a walk-in or someone they knew), and I was expected to just accept it. The owner was dismissive, rude, and condescending. When I explained that I rely on public transportation and that a 4–10pm appointment would leave me getting home around midnight on a work night—or force me to pay for an expensive Lyft—she acted visibly annoyed. At one point she said, "Ugh, I feel like I keep repeating myself," as if I was the problem for expecting my confirmed appointment to be honored. I felt completely gaslit and disrespected. The attitude alone made me uncomfortable, and I no longer trusted anyone there to do my hair. What’s most frustrating is that this business would absolutely charge clients for being late or canceling last minute, yet they have no issue doing exactly that to their customers. It feels greedy, disorganized, and unfair. This experience made it very clear that this is not a business that values clients’ time—especially those who plan ahead and make sacrifices to show up on time. Save your time, money, and energy. I would not recommend Glam By Nadege.

I loved my whole experience. I’m from Alabama so I made an appointment with another girl and she canceled at the last minute but I called Nadege and she took me last minute and all. Also the shop was decorated cute I felt safe, she was fast, nice, fast. Thanks for your service. I got braids and lashes and perfume all in one spot. I will be back in two weeks.

I recently got loc extensions done by Glam by Nadege, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the experience was top tier. Nadege matched the texture and color perfectly to my natural hair—so seamless, you’d think they were real locs! The install was neat, secure (but not too tight), and she took her time to make sure everything laid just right. It’s giving confidence, beauty, and natural vibes all in one. I’ve been getting nonstop compliments, and maintenance has been a breeze so far. If you’re considering loc extensions, I highly recommend booking with Glam by Nadege. She really does her thing!

I want to share my experience with Glam By Nadege so others are aware before booking. Safety & Building Security One of the biggest concerns is safety at the salon. If your braiding appointment runs longer than the building’s normal hours, the owner physically locks the front door from the outside. Once the stylist is finished, the worker has to call the owner—who lives about 10 minutes away—to come back and unlock the door. This means there is no free exit in case of an emergency, which is a serious fire and safety hazard. Quality of Braids Unfortunately, the braids themselves did not hold up. Within the first week, more than 8 strands fell out because they were not braided securely at the roots. For the amount of money I spent, I expected quality that would last far longer than two weeks. Scheduling Issues Lastly, my appointment was mishandled. I was scheduled for 8 AM, but because they double-booked, I wasn’t actually seen until 11 AM. That’s three hours of unnecessary waiting. Overall, this experience was very disappointing. Between the unsafe building practices, poor quality of work, and scheduling issues, I cannot recommend Glam By Nadege.

Been going to Nadege since I moved to the area. She is always very professional and kind. Her shop also has beauty supplies so it’s basically a one stop shop. I would highly recommend her.

I’ve been going to nadege for about a year now and every time I love it! Her braids stay in for super long if you know how to care for them correctly. I come to nadege every 3 months and braids doesn’t slip or anything during those months. Also you never have to buy the hair since it’s included with the service, which i love since I usually don’t have time to go to the store. I put all of the styles nadege has done since I started going to her this year as a reference 🫶🏽
