Yuju was amazing! I got a men’s haircut and perm which I have really stubborn straight hair that Yuju knew how to work with. She clearly knows her stuff and would 100% recommend to friends and family. Incredibly skilled and experienced people and really sweet. (First 2 photos are before and last 3 are after!)

Got my men’s haircut done by Yuju and she did a great job. She listened to exactly how I wanted my comb-over and shaped everything clean with really smooth blending. She took her time, paid attention to detail, and made sure the style sat right. Super easy to talk to and I’ll definitely be coming back to her.

Yuju has been doing my hair for years! I recently got a perm from her and it’s beautiful. Along with that, her hair coloring skills are the best. Forever loyal 🙂

i requested curtain bangs with face framing pieces on the sides. i have curly/wavy hair. for reference, she offers perms so i thought she’d be able to handle cutting wavy hair. on december 17th 2025, i showed yuju my inspiration picture and she started cutting my hair. at no point did she measure how much she was cutting. she didn’t section my hair before cutting, and she ended up cutting a piece of my hair from the side of my head that didn’t belong in my bangs. i asked her if she meant to cut that and she said no. she didn’t fix it or make it even until i asked her to. i paid the $15 + a $5 tip since i hadn’t noticed how badly it was done at that point. she let me walk out with horribly uneven curtain bangs—shorter than what i showed her and wanted. she cut a chunk of hair that wasn’t meant to be cut and didn’t tell me until i confronted her. i came back crying, clearly upset once i noticed how botched my hair was, and i waited for her to be done with her next client. she "fixed" what she could. this time she straightened my hair first, sectioned my hair, and measured both sides against each other. this time asking for me to check if it was even. it came out looking too thick since she had to correct her mistakes. maybe if she had done her job the first time then i wouldn’t have had to waste over 3 hours for a bang trim. DO NOT come here if you don’t have pin straight hair. my curls made the bangs even shorter, which says a lot considering she already cut them too short. i won’t be coming back and wish i asked for a refund. if you decide to let her take scissors to your hair, my advice is to tell her how to do her job and ask her to section your hair, straighten it if it’s not naturally straight, check for symmetry, and to take her time while cutting. this whole thing could have been avoided if she took her job more seriously by refusing service if she knew she couldn’t do a bang trim correctly.

As a man, it was really hard for me to find a place that would do a good perm and layering. But this place is it! Yuju has been doing my hair for over half a year, and I’m super satisfied. Every change I can imagine and hairstyle I want she is on it! Would heavily recommend, especially to men looking to grow up from just a fade.

I’ve been to many different barbers and hair salons, but this place is by far the best. I got a men’s haircut here and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The stylist took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave suggestions that actually made sense for my face shape and hair. The cut was clean, well-balanced, and detailed—especially around the sides and neckline. You can tell they really care about precision and customer satisfaction. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, and I finally feel like I found a place I can stick with. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Been coming to Hyun for years. All the stylists are sweet and welcoming. I love my stylist, Yuju (Jennifer) she always does an amazing job with my hair. She has transformed my hair through different colors (I keep same length, style). I always get compliments. Even my son, who is tough to please, now wants to get his hair cut by her. Salon is located in same plaza as Barros Pizza and Paris Baguette. Plenty of parking. Walk-ins welcome
