rachel r. is an absolute GEM. i was a notorious stylist hopper until I found her, and now I’m NEVER going back. to find a stylist that really listens to your vision AND has the talent to bring your idea to reality is so comforting. i’ve followed her from her previous practice and I’ll continue to follow her wherever she goes bcz she is just THAT good. not only that, but she is so kind and fun and judgment-free which is SO important to me in a stylist. i have never before found a stylist that makes me more comfortable or who is more easy to talk to than rachel. i’m truly so grateful to have found both a wonderful stylist and friend :,). FINALLY i don’t dread getting my hair done and can trust that every time I go in, I’ll walk out feelin’ more confident (and enjoy the process)! i attached a pic where u can see both my partner and i’s hair done by miss rach and her wizardry for proof (hehehe) p.s.to all the soflo alt/ textured hair divas: rachel specializes and devours in BOTH categories which is so hard to come by in this area. BOOK HER!!

Alex V. is genuinely a hair magician! I never leave reviews but had to because of what an exceptional job she did. I came in with over 2 years of black box dye, hoping to get back to blonde. I didn’t expect anything crazy for the first session, maybe a dark brown, because I know how hard black dye is to lift. After 6 hours with alex, was at a light ashy blonde! My hair is not badly damaged either! She was so kind and fun to work with, and guided me through each step of the process. She transformed my hair and I feel so much more confident. I would highly recommend her to anybody, especially for a color correction! I will definitely be going back to her. I attached pictures of the insane transformation she achieved in only one session. Thank you again alex, you’re wonderful.

Had a fantastic experience with Rachel Rearick. After we chatted about what I was hoping to accomplish with my curly hair, she gave me a great cut and tons of information on how to manage my hair on the daily. She was great to talk to and did an excellent job. Will definitely be back!

This was the worst experience i’ve ever had at a hair salon. My hair had blonde highlights and I had that were pretty orange and the stylus said that she would be able to make them more blonde. We also discussed putting a bit of pastel pink color in there. Showed her a picture and everything it took about four hours for her to bleach it to the same if not more orange than it was before. She also put a purple hair dye on my hair that looked like I dyed it when I was 16 years old. Also with any of the color or bleach she didn’t go anywhere near my roots so it look like I did not just get my hair done. Then after six hours and it’s still not looking even close to being OK she had another client come in and just left me there literally crying my eyes out I had been there for so long and she was now working on someone else and had no sympathy it was basically just accusing me of not knowing what I wanted even though it was just absolutely ridiculous. I left with wet unstyled hair because I was so upset and I couldn’t just sit there any longer. She charged me $400 to completely ruin my hair. Afterwards I try to talk to her about how I was gonna have to get it redone and I would really like my money back and she was so rude to me she told me that she had been doing it for years and that it was my fault and it was just so unprofessional it was insane. Finally we got half of the money back after having to talk to the manager and try to figure it all out but really it was absolutely traumatic. Please do not get your hair done by Nylan. Super unprofessional and I went to another salon and they were like this person shouldn’t even have a license to do hair this is ridiculous.

Scarlett at Riot hair lounge is one of the best in the business! Not only does she provide you with education on how to take care of your hair and color, she provides top quality results!! I have known her for many years and always wanted her to do my hair, finally I pulled the trigger and made my appointment and… let’s just say… I won’t have anyone else touch my hair ever again - only Scarlett!! I’ve recently had the opportunity to get my prom hair done with Alex! My girls always making an effort to make every appointment personalized and make be feel welcomed! She’s a true professional at her craft along with a friendly genuine personality which is rare to find! If you’re in need of a quick blowout and trim there’s nobody else I’d recommend other than Alex! Book ASAP
