I’ve been here many times before, but today I had the worst salon experience of my whole life. I’ve never experienced anything like this.I’m extremely disappointed. I came in to get my highlights touched up and I made sure to mention my up coming wedding next week. As I mentioned, I’m a regular here and I’ve always counted on Amy to do a good job. However today, I had to book with Evan as Amy wasn’t available. I told him that the bleach should be rinsed out before the full hour passed. He told me "I know my job" very rudely and left the bleach in my hair for almost another hour. He was bleaching 3 other customers at the same time. My hair began to fall out in chunks. He burned my hair. My hair now is so thin when it wasn’t before. I lost more than half of my hair. My wedding is next week and I have to get extensions. Looking around, I noticed that many people here aren’t even licensed. To top it off, I still had to pay $200 despite losing my hair. Very unprofessional.

This salon took my appointment last second and had done EXACTLY what I asked for. Amy is super professional— I would trust any hair decision with Amy!! I’m definitely coming back to get my hair done again in the future!

❌ Unprofessional & Poor Service – Avoid This Place! ❌ I had a terrible experience at this salon. I asked for a specific haircut, but they completely messed it up. The cut is uneven, not what I requested, and looks very unprofessional. I only noticed after leaving, and when I tried to contact them, I got no proper response. I paid $28 for this service, but I did NOT get what I paid for. This is unacceptable! A professional salon should be responsible for fixing their mistakes. On top of that, the place is dirty and smells terrible. It felt like they don’t clean properly, which made the whole experience even worse. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Stay away unless you want a bad haircut and a bad experience!

I’ve been here three times and I will say this; if you want to dye your hair, you’re more likely to have it turn out well. Plain haircuts, not really. My first cut was layered without bangs and a blue under dye which I loved. My second was also layered but with light bangs which for the most part was good, except they cut my bangs split apart and slightly uneven. My third was supposed to be layered (again) with bangs slightly thicker and together than before. This was the worst experience I had with the salon and his name was Evan. I had my hair sheered thin without asking, my layers in three uneven bulky parts, no styling just cutting, and long fringes instead of bangs. When he was "finished," I asked to have my bangs shorter below my brows. He’d ended up cutting them too deep, too short in the middle, uneven, and untrimmed (lots of long bits hanging). I admit, I was too in shock and nervous to try and ask for it to be fixed when the sight of it looked like that was improbable, so I paid and left. Although my second haircut didn’t make my bangs the way I wanted, it was still presentable and trimmed. This third’s entirety didn’t even look like it came from the salon and now I have to wait for my hair to thicken and grow back

Been planning to dye my hair for a while now and saw the high reviews for this salon in daly city. I saw high reviews for all the staff but decided to opt for Abby. I sent a message through yelp and the scheduling process was very easy. I sent pictures of my current hair and the hair i wanted. Going from natural black hair to ashy balayage. On the day of, I was seated immediately and Abby greeted my shortly after. She was honest with how my hair may not be exactly as the pictures i showed but would try her best. Since I never dyed my hair before, i just put my full trust in her. She gave me helpful info about hair care and how to maintain the upkeep. The whole process took 6 hours and costed under 400$. I loved how my hair turned out. She was being realistic with me about the silver, but still was able to get it to a color I wanted. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and how it still looks so healthy. I highly recommend going to Abby!

I got a haircut 5 hours ago and my hair looks like it's been years since I don't get it cut. The ends look more damaged than before. My pony tail looks awful. The first thing I am going to do tomorrow morning (and not today because I don't have time) is going to get it fix to another salon. This salon have costed me my hair length and a lot of money since I need to get it fixed. Awful experience, very disappointed! This is not how the ends should look like after a haircut (and is not because my hair was very damaged)
