Allure Salon

I visited the salon after a long time without any hair treatments and wanted partial highlights along with a layered haircut. Dani was wonderful. She asked thoughtful questions to understand what I was hoping for and offered great suggestions to improve the final look. She recommended a bit of hair thinning since my hair has a lot of volume and she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. After that she created beautiful wine red highlights that turned out exactly how I imagined. My hair feels lighter and the layers frame my face so nicely. I am extremely happy with the result.

Great first time seeing Michele and getting my vivid colors done. It was a decent amount of time but VERY worth it! I cant wait to come in again for future appointments. She is very thorough and takes a ton of pride in her work and her life.

So glad that I found Michele @ Allure! I had been dying my own hair with henna for years, thinking it was all natural and so good for my hair’s health, but it just was too much for me to keep up. I was ready to get my hair professionally colored again, but I knew no hair dresser would go near me because of the henna. Thankfully, Michele was willing to experiment on me! She did careful tests and showed me that in fact the henna/me not using adequate heat protection had cooked my hair. Cooked it! I had sensed that my hair felt brittle and strange but wow I was really in the danger zone and didn’t realize it. Michele has kindly and creatively worked with me for a year to grow out the henna and re-fortify my hair structure. She and the other Allure staff are friendly and chatty, and I feel right at home in her chair. I also love that Allure is downtown so I can meet up with friends after my appointment. You’ll be happy you booked with them!

This morning I woke up with hair as dry as straw, matted, looked like ramen noodles and was ratty. After an hour and a half with Michelle she completely transformed my hair and and made it look healthy with more volume.its now shiny and I feel great. Definitely recommend Michelle at allure for a great haircut and blow dry.

I am new to Chico; moved from Indy about 3 weeks ago. I totally screwed up my hardworked-for salt and pepper hair with box dye looking for an easy way out during our move. My hair was a MESS, I don’t even know WHAT color it was, and I felt awful about myself. Michele Bundy first of all went above and beyond by texting with me to talk about my hair history and what I was looking for. We did the process in 2 days. The first day she used a process to strip the box dye out of my hair. Though my hair was a weird color for a few days (I was okay with it - I just wore a hat! Lol!) it wasn’t destroyed. It was shiny and soft and felt so healthy! Oh! And she gave me the cutest cut! Then on our second day, Michele literally spent 7 hours with me, going through hair by hair to give me back my salt and pepper - and I swear it looks even better than before!! The care and time she took to get to know me, the fact that she really listened to what I wanted, and her artistry and complete mastery of color correction means that I will be her client from this point forward!!
