David is a fantastic colorist and has provided wonderful guidance on caring for my fine hair. I also purchased a coveted Mason Pearson boar bristle brush at the salon. The owner Jack is lovely and runs a very professional space!

Bria is a true master of her craft! Over the past 10 years, she has been a critical part in evolving my style and building my confidence as I've grown into adulthood. I have been a patron of Marin now for over a year—after being with my previous salon for over 15 years. That was a huge change for me but I would do it again in a heartbeat. I originally started coming to Marin for my colorist Michelle DiGiovanni. I didn’t start coloring my hair until my late 30s because I always thought it was too high maintenance and would be damaging to my hair. But, I went through a mini mid-life crisis where I wanted to dye my hair pink and thankfully I listened to Michelle when she said "maybe let’s try to ease in with a balayage first." And many years later my appointments with Michelle are one of the few things I religiously make sure I keep as part of my self-care. She has always done an amazing job adding depth and dimension to my hair that feels natural. It also ages well and I never feel it looks "bad" even when I’m due for a gloss. It just wears in and makes such a huge difference for me in feeling put together. Michelle is just also a great person who is always fun to catch up with and a cat lover to boot! (Which is definitely a plus in my book) Michelle also introduced me to my stylist Bria Salvador-French who I’ve been seeing now for the last year. Bria came highly recommended as she cuts Michelle’s hair (which always looks amazing). From my first appointment I knew I was in good hands. She taught me so many new things on how to do my hair in a low maintenance way. And most of all, she listened and really made me feel cared for as a woman and as a person. Something that I realize in hindsight I was missing previously. Her skills and craft speak for themselves but the extra care is what sets her apart. I would highly recommend both Michelle and Bria for all your hair needs. I should also mention that I moved out to the suburbs (30miles away) and willingly endure the horrible traffic to see these two ladies 🙃.

Alicia is a natural. Both at styling/cutting hair and making her clients feel at ease. From the first visit over a year ago I've never felt more confident leaving a haircut! The location of the salon is equally convenient for walkers and those who drive. I've enjoyed my time so far at Marin Hair Co.

I’ve been coming to Marin Hair for several years now and I love it! Jack the owner is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and kind. I always feel heard and supported. On this last visit I told Jack and the stylists that I’m on a mission to grow out my grays which means I’ll be transitioning from my current balayage. The toner and treatment Amber used has given me the most lusciously chocolatey tones; I don’t think my hair has ever looked more beautiful! And Bria is an absolute pro with the scissors. She always ensures that I can easily style my hair whether it’s air-dried or blow dried and curled. Can’t recommend this salon enough.

Marin Hair Co is a gem of a hair salon. The scheduling is easy, the stylists are talented, and the management is warm and efficient. I have been lucky to have my hair cut by Bria for at least 10 years. She is excellent at listening to what you want and guides you towards what is possible with your hair. I always leave feeling like my best version of myself. Bria has been so generous throughout the years.
