I absolutely love Barbara&Barbara hair salon. I’ve been getting my hair done here nearly a decade. Alex cuts and colors my hair, and I truly look forward to my appointments. We typically do shaggy, long layers, highlights, and lowlights for an extremely natural looking blonde that is low maintenance and keeps my hair long and healthy. I come from 2.5 hours away for him to transform my locks from lifeless to luscious! And each time I come in, he isn’t afraid to be honest with me about what will and won’t work with my fine hair. I always leave absolutely loving the results and I receive so many compliments on both the cut and color each time.

I've been seeing Alex for several years for my curly hair and always leave very happy with my results. He is friendly, kind, and professional, always happy to provide suggestions if you ever want. I struggled to find a stylist that could consistently give me a good cut (curly folks know) and Alex has been a lucky find! The broader salon is a warm and inclusive environment and I appreciate their commitment to the community they have fostered. It's always a wonderful place to be for an hour or so while you get your hair done.

I've been coming to see Alex for curly haircuts for two years now, starting with a big chop. We've now been through a few different styles together, and let me tell you -- I had never before gotten so many compliments specifically about to the cut. Now, I kid you not after every visit people stop me to tell me "I like your haircut." Alex is sooo good at his job and is always down to switch gears when I want to try something different. And on a personal level i just love chatting with him 🙂 Barbara&Barbara as a whole has always been so warm and inviting, the staff is kind, and I feel at ease there. And there are fun books and things to look at while waiting for your appointment lol. 10/10!!

It was my first salon experience and I had my appointment with Scarlet! They were very helpful in figuring out why my curls have been stringy and weighing down, they also went out of their way to recommend products they have personally used themselves for the same issue. They made me very comfortable and had a very bright personality! I definitely recommend Scarlet for first timers or anyone really

Went in for the first time yesterday to see Molly for an update to my bob. This was the first time I’ve left a salon fully satisfied with the result. Molly understood exactly what I wanted, paid attention to how I wore my hair when I walked in, asked questions about my maintenance routine, and styled it exactly how I would at home. As someone who primarily cuts their own hair when able, most salon experiences have left me going home and spending an hour touching it up myself. This time it was perfect and just such a relief to finally find someone I can both trust and afford, and leave feeling treated. Thanks so much, Molly

Barbara and Barbara is my new favorite hair salon! I’ve never been the type to get my hair done because of various reasons but this place changed that for me. I feel so comfortable in such a supportive environment. Everyone is so sweet! Dee is absolutely wonderful and does an amazing job. I would absolutely recommend coming to this place!!!

Came in for a razor cut with Logan. I brought a photo in to share. The cut wasnt SUPER different from what I had before, but it felt like a big change to me and Logan was super supportive and felt like they were as excited as I was! Basically I had a long shag and we made it even shaggier. I’m absolutley obsessed. I informed Logan that I’m not a blow dry person and they took care to use a diffuser and style it the way I usually like it (air dry, prduct) without fully just sending me outside with completely wet hair- this was especially appreciated ! I felt listened to and am absolutely in love with this little extra bit of choppiness in my hair. Stoked to go back when it’s time for a little trim! Thank you!
