This place is fabulous! I'm so glad I found this hidden gem in Lincoln Park. I got a cut and blow dry from Greg and he is beyond wonderful. He has over 20 years of cutting hair and it shows. The amount of effort and care he put into cutting my hair and styling it - new has so much attention paid to it. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and the place is beautifully decorated with unusual furniture pieces like their tables are refurbished singer sewing machine tops! They're totally environmentally friendly as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

Peggy is absolutely the best. She is incredibly accommodating — even when I asked for a last-minute appointment, she managed to fit me in. The salon is beautiful: comfortable, stylish, and very classy. Peggy always gives excellent advice and really knows which treatments are best for your hair. I have very fine hair, and she cuts it perfectly every time. She is also the only person I trust to color my hair — she achieves the most natural blonde without damaging it. On top of her talent, Peggy is fun, warm, and always in a great mood. I truly have the best time with her at every appointment. I highly recommend her!

Merita is truly exceptional. She always goes above and beyond, and my hair is always on point when I leave her chair. She takes the extra time to check in, comes around afterward to make sure I’m completely happy, and genuinely cares about her clients’ experience. You can feel her passion and attention to detail in every appointment. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better stylist — highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Yacky on November 22nd for a balayage. I met with her previously for a consultation and we spoke about what I wanted. She told me that my hair was and healthy for the color. She never did a color test on me before my appointment to confirm the color would be ok with my hair. On the 22nd she did NOT do the agreed upon balayage she ended up doing something entirely different but i thought it would end up ok. I left the salon thinking everything was fine. the next day i washed my hair at home and it was frizzy and overly processed. Yacky did not tell me that my hair was not as expected and damaged. A few days later I went back to ask for a refund and i spoke with Yacky and the owner of the salon. Neither one of them wanted to help and they said it was my fault. I suggest you think twice before going to this salon or booking with Yacky.

Absolutely loved my experience! The color turned out gorgeous and the cut was exactly what I wanted — fresh, modern, and super flattering. Amy & Gregory really listened to me and made sure everything looked perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Visiting from out-of-town and wanted a blowout! Had an amazing experience here with Gregory last week. Every step of my blowout was done with care and intention, his expertise is unmatched and you can see years of skill in the work he does. He gave me exactly what I asked for and the final look was better than I had expected. Will definitely return the next time I come to Chicago. Can’t recommend this place enough! Also, the sweet young lady at the front desk was so, so helpful in answering my questions and booking the appointment. Really great energy all-around at this salon. Thank you!

A. salon products are suitable for my scalp. Their products don't contain harsh chemicals that can give burning sensation or dandruff eventually. I love how the stylists are informed and knowledgeable and make sure that their clients know what's the best for them. Interior of this salon is quite charming and sophisticated. I like how sewing machine are used as counters and LOVE the huge circular mirror hanging from the ceilings. Same day appointments are tough. Also, prices are not too high as well.
