Volume Salon

Dena did the most amazing job on my hair. Even though it took hours because i had long black hair to start, she managed to get my hair light enough while still keeping it healthy. She made my vision come true and even stayed over an hour after close to make sure it was what i wanted. She truly cares about her clients, i will definitely be returning.

I love Volume! I used to live in uptown, like literally 3 min away and walked over whenever I needed a cut. In the past I’ve had Anna, and she’s amazing (despite her junior stylist title). Her blow dry technique is my absolute favorite! After moving out of uptown recently, I needed a last minute cut today (11/12) & volume came to mind. Since it was so last minute, I decided to just jump the gun & book an appointment here. My stylist today was great! Her name is Camila & she’s new but she did an amazing job with my haircut/trim. The website says parking available, but this is a BIG stretch. There are 6 shared spaces available for the salon & the Camden offices building right next door. All 6 spots were taken. With that being said, I did not get to park for free & parked across the street for $15 (for 10 hours but I was out in 1 hour). Because I’ve never paid for parking before, I just never knew. Personally, it’s not worth it for anyone that lives outside of the city. I’m sad that this will be the last time visiting this salon but good times were had.

Dropped in for a haircut with Kelley and left with the most beautiful style. She was able to shape my hair nicely and adapt the style I had been looking at to be more suited for my hair texture. She was friendly, loves Charlotte, and is so talented. A true artist in her craft. I enjoyed my moment in the chair, appreciated how pretty my hair looked when I got home, and felt relieved that this haircut is something I can work with going forward.

Nicely appointed salon. Got a blowout with Anna. She did a fantastic job. My hair is hard for some people to do and she nailed it. Lift, shine...everything you would want in a blowout. Too bad I am only in town for a few days.

Had some great cuts here with Abigale! Unfortunately Kelly isn’t great at cutting short hair, but very nice person and easy to talk to.

I had the pleasure of having my hair fully highlighted and toned a few months ago by the very talented and sweet Lindsey. I had explained to her that I was nervous because I have had bad experiences previously in salons with my hair, and until her I had only trusted two people in this world to work on my hair. Being hundreds of miles away from those individuals, I did some research and landed on Volume Salon here in Charlotte. Lindsey was very accommodating, sweet, and empathetic when I expressed my apprehension. She listened to exactly what I wanted done and she executed it even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail and positive attitude made it a wonderfully positive experience. Needless to say, Lindsey is someone that I fully trust with my hair care. I will be going back to her regularly. My only regret is that it took me so long to write this review ❤️

Have loved getting my hair done here, however was let down yesterday. They were running a $25 off if you book same day color which I did. I didn’t notice until I got home and realized I wasn’t told about the promo. It’s only $25 but these are the types of things that keep people coming back… or not. It was a bummer and would’ve been easy for them to let me know about this since I have come a handful of times for cuts, colors, etc. Didn’t feel like a valued client today.
