Was given an appointment on short notice on Christmas eve! Atmosphere is warm, everyone was kind, non-judgmental. Got a great single process treatment on hard to treat hair that was done perfectly— I left with not a trace of dye on my face, neck or ears, and my hair styled beautifully. Pricing was the best in the area. Very grateful.

First time getting a haircut here, a multi-gender saloon. It was a cool atmosphere, I came here with no appointment, but I highly recommend booking an appointment. The lady was kind, and she did an excellent job with my haircut.

I have thick straight hair that is easy to maintain. Only needed a trim and my hair thinned out at the ends. Haircut was uneven on one side but I didn’t notice until after I left. Okay service, cleanliness was a bit questionable especially washing hair in between customers. There was hair from the previous client in the sink. Would not come back here again.

Mary did an amazing job coloring my hair! She was also extremely accommodating! I had an appointment with one of the barbers and before leaving asked if I could make an appointment to get my hair colored. She told me if I could wait about 30 minutes she would fit me in. Just like that! It was indeed worth the wait! I found a skillful barber and an amazing hair stylist in the same place!

Aparis Hair Salon has delivered again! She actually has made me feel special again, and I look and feel good through her hair styling. She reminds me of my hair stylist from Brooklyn, New York. I came in non confident, but by the time she was finished with my haircut, my confidence was high! She also advised on what haircut was suitable for me to be able to grow back my hair in a healthy looking way. She has a kind, humble way about her while she was doing my hair. This was my first experience at a Dominican hair salon, so I did not know what to expect; especially with all of the bad press Dominican salons have gotten in the past. But I decided to just go with my gut and try it for myself, and I am so glad I did! Between the availability of the stylists, the speed, and the prices, I think I have found my new silk press spot! The service I got: a blow out, trim, and silk press. I will say, the blow dryers are HOT so if you are a curly girl who likes to wear her curls and don’t like excessive heat, it’s probably not for you. I’m a curly girl, but I do not wear my natural curls, so I wasn’t too concerned about the heat. But I’m sure they could adjust the setting if you ask. Overall, 10/10 experience for me, and I’m looking forward to going back.
