Salon 42

Veronica did my hair this last visit and I was really happy with it. She did exactly what I was hoping for. When I came in I told her I wanted a wolf cut, and she explained really thoroughly what a wolf cut was bc the pics I had were a mix… that a wolf cut was more heavy on top and thinner looking to the bottom. I didn’t want it very thin at the bottom and "Christmas tree looking"… I was really appreciative of her explaining it to me to make sure of what I wanted… and finding a way to give me the hairstyle I wanted without it looking like a Christmas tree lol. I’ll be booking my next appointment with her in the next week or 2. My bf got his hair cut here too. His was reeeeeeally grown out lol, Allie fixed it up real nice for him. His next appointment with her is next week and he’s looking forward to it. He picked up the keratese shampoo/conditioner "premiere" line while he was there for me and I’m really enjoying it:) Such a nice salon, relaxing, they offer you a drink, and I love the fact you are washed right at their station. I've been coming here to see Ashley for the last 2 years. I usually get blonde hi-lights, and she just understands the vision I'm going for every time. Prices are fair and the staff are super friendly!

Ashley DeMaria gave me a great hair cut and styling. I went in without much of an idea and I left so so happy with her work! Will be back for sure!

Ashley D. is wonderful! I moved here 2 years ago and had a hairapist in GA for 7 years. Ashley took over my hair therapy like she had been doing it for years. Not only did she cut and style my hair perfectly but the color, oh the colors I’m so thankful. She’s always willing to make the little changes look so good when I’m so nervous.

I’d like to start by saying the salon has a great atmosphere and the staff are very kind and welcoming. My experience, however, was a bit challenging. I know my hair can be complicated due to previous box dye, and I realize that can make things more difficult. That said, after two visits, the results were not what I had hoped for. The first appointment left little visible change, and the second left my hair significantly over-highlighted, especially on the top, which has made me quite self-conscious. I've since had to seek corrective work at another salon. I would just recommend being very clear and detailed when communicating your expectations, especially if your hair history is complex. While the staff are lovely, my personal experience with the results was unfortunately disappointing.

I recently came in for a pretty big project. I wanted to take my hair platinum, and I knew it would take serious time, energy, and effort. I came to Salon 42 after seeing Sam Lawrence’s work, and he gave me the hair of my dreams. I couldn’t be more happy with his service, the results, and his professionalism. I can’t recommend him enough. My hair is so beautiful, I’m speechless.

This Salon 42 location is welcoming, clean, and so hospitable. They have a front desk attendant who checks you in and asks if you’d like a drink while you wait for your stylist which is so nice! More specifically, I cannot say enough good things about their stylist, Crystal Correa. I’ve been coming to her for months now, after finding her work on Instagram. She is truly a magician when it comes to color correcting (someone else’s poor work) and vivids. More importantly, she takes the time to listen and is a kind soul. If you’ve been burned in the past by other salons and in need of some TLC, or if you need someone who is excellent and knowledgeable with vivid colors, then you need to see Crystal!
