For the first time, my hair comes out looking amazing. I have been having trouble finding a place to provide a decent haircut for a decent price. Jim Akron Hair Studio is a place to go. Jim starts out washing my hair, then he performs his magic with ease. I can’t tell you how happy I am when I came out without hair sticking up in the back. I would recommend this place to a friend

I've been trying to find a good hair studio for years, and Mr. Jeon has been the best that I've seen. He's very efficient and follows reference photos well 🙂 I get a shag cut with a lot of layers for reference, and he does it perfectly. The prices are a lot more reasonable, and the ambience of the studio is cozy.

I came in with my mom and asked for both hair color and haircut. It was middle of the afternoon on Sat so I knew it likely will be running late (shop close at 6pm). I did call on the way over to inform the shop. While we were likely the last customers for the stylist/owner, there is no need to do things so fast and aggressive! It actually hurt my scalp. I didn't complain at the time because I knew it was running late. But such hurry that he couldn't even blow dry my hair to finish the job? That's really the 1st for a salon! On top, my hair color turned out fried and super dried, I could barely tell any cut he made, and I have to go elsewhere now to fix it. Will never come back again and would not recommend anyone coming to this shop.

I'm come to this hair salon with my son and my wife every other month for hair cut , hair stylist services for years. Jim is friendly, detailed and neatly man with a great haircut skills. It wasn't fare if I didn't give him any kudos for his great work when my family members were his regular customers. Thank you Jim Jeon for your great service 👍

Great experience! Got a same day appointment to get my hair trimmed and layered. Jim is a very professional and hospitable person. Started off with a quick, relaxing hair wash and proceeded with the hair trim... super affordable and worth it with the quality of his work. I’ll be telling my friends and going back myself 😊

I’ve been going here for a haircut for several years. In addition to Jim’s super friendly personality, he’s skilled in his craft. He gives great haircuts no matter your hair style as I’ve witnessed many satisfied customers while awaiting my turn. Highly recommend Jim Jeon!

Probably the best hair stylist I've gone to. I've gone to tony and guy and Regis and they are just not up to par with Mr. Jeon. Him and his wife are so nice and you can definitely tell he's skilled. I like how he is able to cut off split ends without sacrificing length which is a big plus for me, and he asks how you specifically want your hair. His prices are reasonable and he does not skimp or rush his process. His salon is definitely under rated.
