I started going to Sunday Salon within the past year for red refresh and a curly cut. I am very particular about my red hair and had never experienced a curly cut before. My experience with Sunday Salon from start to finish has been nothing short of fabulous. Ashley was so attentive and thorough during my consultation in order to make me feel comfortable with moving forward. She delivered and has continued to deliver the exact results I desired. I love the balayage with red that has faded so beautifully and looks so natural. And as someone who had never had a curly cut, it's been life changing. I truly feel like it makes all the difference. Ashley's expertise in that area has shown through. Lastly, Ashley is pleasant and warm and has made me feel like a friend every time I've come in the salon. Would recommend this salon to anyone!

I’ve loved Sunday Salon ever since I moved to Cary five years ago and have continued to be a loyal client even after moving farther away. I’ve never missed an appointment, but today an urgent personal matter came up and I had to cancel at the last minute. I understand that policies exist, but given my long-standing history, I had hoped for some understanding in this situation. In my experience, businesses I’ve supported consistently tend to extend that grace once trust is established, so I was disappointed that this wasn’t the case here. While I recognize their right to enforce the policy, this experience has unfortunately cost them my loyalty, and I’ll be looking elsewhere going forward.

This is one of the worst place, I will never come back here. For the amount that they make me paid and my hair still looked really bad and I had to dry my hair myself is ridiculous to me. Doesn’t makes sense how a balayage is going to be done in a hour and 30 min the first picture is what I wanted my hair was in 3 colors I had to go find someone who could actually do a balayage in dark hair. The last picture is someone’s work.

I walked into Sunday Salon in Cary, NC this morning at 8:55am and was greeted by my stylist for the day — and my first born — Jace. Jace is currently in the Associate Program at Sunday Salon, where on Mondays from 9–12 he practices on models or works through techniques on mannequin heads. Today, I had the absolute honor of being his model. I came in wanting a real change, and I knew that meant bringing back my bangs. I showed Jace a couple of inspiration photos, and we talked through exactly what I was looking to achieve. He then reviewed the plan with his mentor, Katherine, who has the same fine, pin-straight, zero-volume hair as I do. Her recommendations made me feel so seen — especially the tip to ditch hairspray for a dry texture spray instead. (Yes, I went straight out after and bought some — thank you, Katherine!) Next, Jace walked me through a hair quiz to tailor the perfect treatment plan. Then it was off to the wash sink where he gave me a lovely shampoo and a 10-minute scalp massage using those customized products. Pure heaven. Back in the chair, he got to work shaping, framing, and bringing my bangs back to life. And let me just say: I am SO in love with this fresh new look. It fits perfectly with my "year of the snake vs. year of the horse" energy shift — and it has me feeling confident, renewed, and ready for 48. I can’t thank Jace enough. If you’re thinking about supporting a talented up-and-coming stylist — especially on Monday model days — I cannot recommend him highly enough. Cheers to 48 & the year of the horse! 🥂✨

In all my years of going to a salon I don’t think I have ever been educated on process and products the way Lisa (color expert) did she explained each option and pros and cons of each and helped me make an educated decision and also helped me understand upkeep and what would work best for me and my lifestyle! She is also the funniest, kindest, and most approachable person I’ve met at a salon in a long time looking forward to my next booked appointment with her!

My Sunday Salon appointments, with Ravon in particular, have been outstanding and a truly enjoyable self-care experience. On both occasions, I felt comfortable, pampered even, and kept in the loop of how the process or cut would affect my overall look and care of my hair while transitioning from color-correction to a gorgeous new look for 2026.

Sunday Salon is cute! Not like any other salon I’ve gone to. The warm eucalyptus towel… Lawd! And Ravon!!!!!!!!! That’s my bookie now! He was so sweet from start to finish. When I say he washed this head and gave me the best conditioning and head massage. He is why I’m giving them 5 stars. But for my honest thoughts on the business itself. It isn’t bad by any stretch. However, I think the cancellation/rescheduling policy is a bit steep. I understand that policy is policy and I did book the appointment the day of, but I wasn’t aware that Ravon couldn’t cut my hair and I honestly was going to cancel and go else where. (I thought maybe the site was just acting weird and I could just add on to my service at the time of my appointment). So I called, she did share the policy with me so I kept it. But I also asked if we could just reschedule it and they can still charge my card but use it for the actual rescheduled appointment, I got that no ma’am in the sweetest way haha. As for the pay structure for going over an hour. I understand that this is a different salon from what I’m use to but I have never heard of paying an extra free for another 30 minutes of $40-$50. She was kind to not charge me for it because it was my first time so I really appreciate that. My suggestion (not that it matters), if you want to invite or bring in different clients of ALL hair types and textures, I don’t think you should charge them for something being over an hour. Some of us have curly and coily hair, some of us have straight, some have wavy, and different lengths. It’s almost like a punishment which is why I don’t think that is a favorable business aspect for retaining clients and bringing in diversity of clients. Overall, the salon is amazing. Everyone is extremely nice but I am a little partial to Ravon haha.
