Shear Joy Studio, LLC

Gospel is always fun to tease with. When my hair gets to the point I feel I can no longer stand it, she makes me feel beautiful.

I cannot recommend Gospel enough! Unlike chain salons that often feel rushed and impersonal, Gospel provides an experience that is thoughtful, detailed, and deeply personalized. She doesn’t just cut hair—she transforms it. Every visit feels like a collaboration with a true artist who listens, understands, and brings your vision to life with skill and care. I always leave her chair feeling confident, refreshed, and completely seen. If you're looking for a stylist who is passionate, precise, and truly in a league of her own, look no further. Gospel is the real deal—and once you've experienced her artistry, you'll never want to go back to a chain salon again.

I decided to get a summer haircut on a whim, and I am SO glad I chose Gospel! She is so fun to be around, and with minimal instruction (I wanted layers to my straight hair) she transformed my hair into something I actually love and want to take care of!! She was extremely helpful giving me advice, too. Can’t wait to see her again!

I love Gospel and Shear Joy. I started using her services when I moved to Cary in late 2021, and while I don't live in Cary anymore, I still go to her and will keep going to her as long as she is open! I cut most of my hair off at that time into a short bob style and have been growing it out since then, at every stage she has helped make it look good. I also use her products exclusively on my hair, I've found them to really work with my hair type.

Gospel is just awesome! I love what she did with my hair!!! Booking an appointment is so easy and the prices are great! 10/10 would recommend 😊

Gospel is AMAZING! She didn’t complain about how thick my hair was. She took her time and made sure she did it right. I have never had a hair stylist treat me so good. I will be coming back for sure! She’s pure bliss. What a beautiful soul 🥰

Gospel is awesome. She truly loves what she does and has a passion for hair. When I came in, I had a lot of breakage and split ends from botched chemical treatments and not trimming my hair for a year. She cleaned me up really nice. She also asked a lot of questions which I appreciate because she got to understand how my hair ended up the way it did and educated me on how to properly take care of my hair. You don't get a lot of that in other salons. She doesn't try to rush or cut corners. Overall great stylist!!
