Jaclyn has really poured her heart and soul into Retreat Beauty Studio. Every-time I’m in her chair I know I am going to be taken care of. She does a beautiful job with color; I put my trust in her and I love seeing what she creates.

Every visit to retreat, beauty, Studios has been a truly inviting and enjoyable experience. From the moment I walk in, I’m welcomed into a warm and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes me feel at home. The space is always spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged to provide a relaxing experience. One of my favorite parts of every appointment is the little massage Jackie gives after washing my hair it’s such a small but wonderful touch that makes the experience even more luxurious. The music volume is just right, never too loud, adding to the overall comfort of the salon. Jackie is an incredibly skilled stylist who knows her craft inside and out. I’ve personally received haircuts, highlights, color treatments, and even a couple of extensions, and each time she has exceeded my expectations. She listens carefully to what I want, offers expert advice, and ensures that my hair not only looks great but remains healthy. Her attention to detail and dedication to her clients are unmatched, and I always leave feeling refreshed and confident in my new look. Beyond her talent, Jackie creates a welcoming and friendly environment, making each appointment feel more like a visit with a friend than just a hair appointment. My daughter has also had multiple haircuts with Jackie, and she always works wonders on her thick, hard to manage hair. Whether her hair was long or short, Jackie knew exactly how to shape and style it to make it more manageable while keeping it looking beautiful. It’s clear that she understands different hair types and knows how to bring out the best in each one. On top of her expertise, I love that Jackie also hosts special events at the salon, like yoga classes and other fun gatherings, making it more than just a place for hair it’s a true community. I highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and welcoming stylist!

I’ve been getting my haircut done by Jaclyn for years. She almost feels like family/best friend. I always look forward to sitting in her chair and letting the conversations flow about life, kids, books, and just about anything without judgement. After all these years of hair cutting it was finally time to color my hair (those pesky grays). I knew there was no better person that I would trust with my first hair coloring. Jaclyn was able to find a date and time where me and my two daughters could all get our haircut at the same time. We loved the hair wash and we all look fresh and fabulous!

I've been coming to Jaclyn for about 4 years. From her studio in Ventura, I followed her to Camarillo. I love how I feel when I walk out of her salon. Beautiful hair, bouncing while I walk. Best feeling thanks to Jaclyns magic! She knows just what my hair needs and how to style it. She is also amazing with kids. I started to bring my son to her for his haircuts. He loves his time in chair, he's always so excited to go to her salon. The hair wash and neck and scalp massage are like heaven. Her new salon is definitely spa like.
