I have been coming to Salon 87 for almost a decade, both facials and haircuts! Facials are amazing, I love how personalized it is for each person and Nami has magic hands.i love her! I have had many haircuts and loved them all, they know what they are doing, they pay attention to details and hear what you want! The Salon is clean and has inviting, calm atmosphere. Mai has been my go to hairstylist, she is so good, I haven’t been happier with my hair in so long!

It was my first time at Salon87 and I had Taichi. The salon is so calm inside, and I noticed all the stylists, before the haircut or coloring, were sitting with their clients and talking in-depth about what they wanted. Taichi did the same for me and he really wanted to make sure I got the haircut I referenced! He did not rush me and followed up with questions to confirm. I also loved how careful and slow he was with my hair. I got exactly the haircut I referenced and couldn’t recommend enough. I paid $115 and then a 30% tip and felt this was a great price point for the comfort, professionalism, and hair cut I experienced. Will be going back!

I’m not overstating or being dramatic when I say KAZUMA gave me the best haircut of my 30+ years of life. For years, I’ve gone to a different salon each year for my annual haircut because no salon has ever made me want to return or it’s always been meh haircuts. I just assumed my hair isn’t capable of achieving anything grand. After getting a haircut with Kazuma, I don’t think I want to go to anyone else now. And I may even want more than once a year haircuts so I can keep this look!! I came with some reference photos and one constraint I told Kazuma: please don’t thin out my hair/ help me keep volume on the top of my head since I had lost a lot of hair there from stress the prior year. We jointly observed the reference photos, and he gave some of his own suggestions. When he was done with the cut, he styled it with the blow dryer which helped me understand how to get the exact look I had shown him in the reference photos. There was a moment I was like "wait where is this going…." Trust his process. The end result was fantastic and looked just like my reference photos and I looked like I had even more volume on the top of my head than ever before. My insecurity was gone 🥹 It’s been well over a week since he gave me the gift of my haircut and I’ve been traveling for a wedding and vacation, washed my hair 3x in 3 different climates (dry desert, wet and cold) and my hair has looked amazing in every instance. Whether it’s air dried, styled blow dried or even straight, it just looks good. I’ve never felt so pretty. Thank you so much Kazuma for the haircut of a lifetime 😭❤️ worth every penny.

The gentleness and expertise at salon87 are unmatched! There is a lot of care put into every aspect of the experience. A hot or iced tea from their menu is included. The head spa was divine, so relaxing and my scalp and hair feel so rejuvenated! My headache and shoulder pain went away. My root retouch was flawlessly colormatched. Everyone on the team was so kind. Couldn’t recommend this spot more, I’ll be back 🙂

Taichi gave me a wonderful haircut/shag for the new year! He also fixed up my bangs beautifully, my hair looks and feels lovely <3 he is a pro This salon feels very mindful of their practices and it is always great to chat with the stylists

Absolutely one of the best haircuts I have ever had. A real precision bob which looks easy but actually not and Kazuma did an amazing job on my unevenness from a previous cut lovely friendly . Really professional and friendly staff
