I am so glad I found Jake! Alongside the beautiful, tranquil space and lovely conversations, I’ve benefited so much from Jake’s kind, encouraging expertise and guidance. I never really know what to do with my wavy hair and rely heavily on Jake’s artistic vision and incredible attention to detail; he always knows exactly what will work for my hair. I’ve received so many compliments on my cuts and always look forward to the next visit. If you're looking for a stylist you can truly trust, look no further. Highly recommend, 11/10!!

I have been coming to Jake for years and there is no one else I would trust as my barber. Jake is truly an artist and a master of his craft! He takes the time to listen to what you want and will guide your haircuts to fit your styling needs. Apart from his unrivaled styling skills, KeeJu is a wonderful space that is so warm, inviting, and welcoming that you instantly feel at home. The studio is a testament to the love and care Jake puts into not only the environment of his workspace but also the attention to detail that he brings to every one of his clients. For the past 10+ years, I kept my hair short because I never felt like I had open communication with my stylist or the comfort to go on a longer journey to grow it out. Jake changed that. What stands out most is that he’s helped me rebuild an emotional connection to my hair — something I haven’t felt since I was teenager. I see Jake's approach to his work to be similar to an artist's: he's a visual and technical expert who can help you arrive to a vision of your hair you may not have the words for yet. In any event, the studio is a total vibe and the haircutting is excellent. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Jake (the owner, not me, I am a different Jake that can only grow hair instead of cutting it) is great! I haven't got my hair cut anywhere else since coming here. I've been growing my hair longer lately and he helped me navigate the new style. Plus his space is super nice.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jake for almost 4 years now, and I plan to continue coming back as long as I can. He is very detailed & knowledgeable about his craft, receptive to communication, and will readily share great advice about styling and taking care of your hair if you ask. He’s also built a really welcoming and relaxing studio with beautiful atmosphere which I really appreciate. Jake and Nick are both incredible at what they do—highly recommend!!

I always look forward to getting haircuts at Kee Ju. Jake is an attentive listener who really understands hair. I appreciate all the fine touches that he adds that make my hair grow out nicely even if I go a while between cuts. He never makes you feel rushed. The studio is conveniently located and beautifully appointed -- full of plants, pottery, vintage clothing, and other cool things. It's a relaxing and stress-free environment. Highly recommend!

Jake is the kind of barber that makes you feel more confident and somehow even healthier when you walk out of the shop. I look better and feel better after an hour in his chair. Full of advice (on hair, restaurants, travel, anything else you can bring up), he’s been consistently realizing my vague "I’m thinking…" directions through several lengths, styles, my wedding, and at least one "I’m just going to shave it" panic. Great cut, great conversation, great business to support.
