Shan Hair

Absolutely love Shan Hair and recommend this salon to all my curly friends! This was my third time visiting, and Kiki did my curly cut. I came in with a reference photo and Kiki totally saw the vision. Throughout the service she asked follow up questions to make sure my hair was cut to my liking. She gave each one of my curls the attention they needed. Kiki is an excellent conversationalist, and the salon as a whole has a positive and authentic energy. Shan Hair consistently delivers high quality and personal attention. Not to mention, one of the most affordable curly cuts in the city! Hands down the best haircut I’ve had, and I’m looking forward to my next one here 😌

This was my first time going to Shan Hair and I will definitely going back! Kiki was so kind and knowledgeable, and constantly checked in to make sure I was happy with how she was cutting my hair. As a curly haired girl with 2b/2c hair I always feel nervous trying out a new place, but this experience was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend!

I’ve had such bad haircut experiences but Caitlin did amazing! She was super friendly, made sure she knew exactly what I wanted, showed me what she was going to do, and styled it beautifully. This was the first time I didn’t have to go home and wash/ restyle my hair after a haircut! I’m so thankful and happy with it!!

I had my first Deva Cut ever for curly hair and it was the first haircut in my life I've never hated. Cassandra was amazingly informative, thorough, and thoughtful throughout my entire time there.

**Caitlyn (sorry i totally got her name wrong omg) gave me the best highlights of my life! I was a little nervous as color usually totally destroys my curls but it looks fantastic and they feel very healthy. Everyone there was so friendly and they were able to move my appointment time to something more convenient during a holiday week, which I truly appreciated. The vibes are great and the price is super reasonable. I will certainly be back! Editing to update it was *Caitlyn not Caroline, my bad !!

I had a really great experience at Shan Hair. Emily was ready for me as soon as I walked in. She asked me what I wanted, I explained in detail, and she told me how she would go about doing it. I felt welcome, heard and confident she would be able to do what I wanted. And she did! The cut was exactly what I wanted, and she was attentive and efficient about it the entire time. The shampoo and products after were also really nice. Much better than any barbershop cut I’ve had. They also gave me a nice cool glass of filtered and flavored water which really hit the spot! I will definitely be going back.

I've gotten my hair cut/styled here a few times by Kiki, and she always does such a great job! She is so kind and sweet and makes you feel super comfortable throughout the whole process. I used to get permanent Japanese hair straightening treatment every year, and in recent years decided to embrace my natural waves. The way that they cut your hair really caters to your natural wave pattern and hair texture, and Kiki always cuts my hair to the perfect length that I ask for. I also love how the salon uses clean and organic products catered to wavy/curly hair.
