Zinke Hair Studio

I cut my hair with Gabrielle, she is dedicated and attentive to my hairs needs. She has passion and knowledge! The studio has a great atmosphere and I just love everything about it when I go there! My daughters are in the pictures, they see Abra and she does a fantastic job!

Caitlin is the most amazing stylist. She's an expert in her craft. She listens, offers feedback, and gets the job done beautifully!! She's hard working and and an amazing conversationalist. I leave her chair happy, refreshed,.blonder and caught up on our fav Bravo shows! The rest of the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough!

First I’ll mention the location: it’s stunning, with an unimpeded view of the Flatirons. Zinke also is located in the 29th Street mall among other businesses including a spa, an exercise facility, and a food shop. Next, the staff is unfailingly gracious. Tea, coffee, and other items are freely available and offered. Most importantly is the fact that you are guaranteed excellent hair care (and Aveda products). I never once left the salon less than very pleased with my hair; in fact, Jacki’s skills as a hairdresser are among the best you’ll find in Boulder, which is saying a lot, but whoever did my hair, I always received compliments from others. I highly recommend Zinke.

Nayeli did my balayage and haircut and I couldn’t be happier! She took the time to listen to exactly what I want and we tried a new haircut style which I absolutely love. I’m always getting compliments on my hair and I always give them Nayeli’s name! Will keep coming back!

I typically use Aveda salons. In the 3 years I used their salons, I think someone called off to re-schedule maybe 1 time even when I was going once every three or four weeks. I was referred here by a relative and now that person feels bad about the experience. Give their hair cuts are high, when 50% of 4 appointments were not kept over 2 months, I cant rely on this salon. I sell my time for a living and very little time to get in to the salon and when I do, its to ensure I look my best to sell as much as I can while representing my brand well. This salon cant be trusted to keep appointments ( only 1 cancelation was my fault because I was seriously injured right before my appointment and needed stitches). The manager later emailed when they called off again 20 minutes before the appointment saying the stylists is a single mom and she kinda lost track of time. Other reviewers say here they bump people for more expensive treatments. I can see from the behaviors and the reviews, they do bump people to accomplish higher revenue generating appts. The manager confirmed that I was bumped for someone else and that the stylist need to run to get her kids. I get family comes first but this is an Aveda salon, you cant just lose track of time.....you sell that for A LIVING. Maybe communicate with your team and do better.

The worst haircut of my life! After a positive experience with Zinke, I decided to go back. The stylist who had done my hair before is no longer there, so I had to do it with another one. I sent her a reference picture in advance and discussed it with her once I arrived, giving pretty detailed explanations of what I wanted and why. Not only the result is completely different from what I asked, but also she ignored my specific requests about length and volume, completely chopping off my hair! When I shared my discomfort with the result, the stylist blamed my hair (saying it was unexpectedly curly!) and said that it will "hopefully grow back fast." I left the salon and immediately started crying, feeling stupid for having spent over $100 on such a scam! I’m NEVER going back to this salon and I don’t recommend it at all!

Nayeli did an amazing job cutting off all of my dead ends and a face framing! I left with my hair looking so much better and feeling soft! Also the hair washing chairs are super comfy! Thanks again!!
