Emily is an absolute treasure and genuinely the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to her for six years now, and I still think about the magic of that first haircut. It was like she saw my true essence and style and revealed it. Appointments feel therapeutic. It’s a 1:1 shop so there’s no outside noises or other clients around. She is so caring and so intentional with everything she does. I have a ton of very fine wavy/curly hair and spent years struggling with how to style it before Emily gave me a long, custom shag that completely changed the game. Six years later, I’m still getting compliments on it regularly. I wash an air dry every day, it’s the easiest style I’ve ever had! Her ability to carve and face frame is unparalleled. It’s truly an art form. She started offering color service again and most recently she nailed my highlights, giving me the softest, most natural color I’ve ever had. It perfectly matches the dimension and warmth my hair had when I was a kid, which is exactly what I asked for and honestly more than I expected. I can’t say enough good things about Sage Studio. If you’re looking for someone who specializes in razor cuts, soft natural lived-in color, or just genuinely gets your hair, run don’t walk! Emily is your person and worth every penny. ♥️

She has seen me through different lengths and colors, including transitioning from dyeing my hair to growing it out into its natural white/silver color. I have been getting my hair cut by Emmy for about three years and she is amazing! Not to sound dramatic but she changed my life with the way she cuts my hair. I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair and she has done an amazing job adding more layers to my hair to allow my curls to breathe in a way they never have before. I started getting my hair cut by Emmy 4 years ago and I don't think I'll ever be able to go to anyone else. I have a textured curly hair and I know prior to seeing her my hair was a huge frustration to me as I did not believe it could ever look good. I’ve been going to Emmy since I moved to Denver and it’s been amazing. She really knows how to cut your hair to fit you. Her haircuts are low maintenance and look amazing months down the line. I truly love everything about the experience. From the moment you sit down in her chair until you leave. She’s worth it.

If I could give double stars, I'd give 'em! Emmy is the best. My curls and I have been with her since 2008. I'd fly across the globe to have her cut my hairs. Emmy's magic is looking at your face and your essence and creating a bespoke cut that is just *you* and highlights your everything. She's a lovely human on top of it all.
