Unique 8 Hair Place

I went for a haircut because my last experience here was good, but this time it was the worst experience I’ve had. The person who cut my hair was rough while washing my hair and did not follow the haircut I requested at all. I showed a reference photo and explained clearly what I wanted, but he did not understand and did not try to understand. I understand that there may be a language barrier, but communication is essential for a haircut, and there was no effort to clarify. I left with a haircut completely different from what I asked for.

Warning! Nobody here speaks any English. That being said it's an excellent place for a male haircut. The stylists here are all very capable. Show them a picture or two of the cut you want on your smartphone and they'll make it happen. No awkward smalltalk necessary. They wash your hair with a nice scalp massage, cut, rewash to get off all the clippings and blow dry with product for under 25$. I've been getting my haircuts here for 3 years now and I've yet to have a bad experience. Walk-in welcome.

This may sound bizarre and untrue, but I was walking by on the side walk and I saw an ENORMOUS cockroach on the carpet inside just crawling around. Can’t speak to the quality of the service or anything but if cockroaches are a problem for you I’d think twice.

Overpriced place with average skills and treated without care. My hair was uneven after I got home and wash. They just raised male haircut price to $29 while the service stay the same. With this price and skill. I will not come again. My wife can do it better because they don’t CARE.

It's a wonderful place to get a haircut as a male. I say this because I can only speak from my perspective. Price wise, it's $23 for men. I tend to go during weeknights when they are generally empty. There's usually no wait. Regardless, the first thing that happens is the lady up front will give you a hair wash with a minor head and neck massage included. Feels great.👍 Afterwards, you will go to your hairstylist of choice. I've only had Jackie and Andy so far. They both do an incredible job and pay a lot of attention to detail! They take their time and the haircut its not rushed. Overall, they are very receptive to your requests. After they are done, you will get another hair wash to get all the loose hairs out. They'll style your hair with gel if you choose to and they've taught me a few tricks! From start to finish, you can expect to spend 30-45 minutes with all their services. Overall, it's a great place I've been going to for years. They speak very little English but that has never been a problem with me. If you have complex requests, you might want to bring someone that can speak Chinese.

I adore this place. As others have said, they don’t speak English. But you can get by without it. I love that they do the hair washing. The person who does it gives the best head massages. And it’s pretty cheap too! Around 35 for a short haircut and wash including tip. I always come to this place for my haircuts
