Tweed Barbers of Boston

They're good. Make no mistake, their skill is certainly top quality. However, I don't think it's quite worth the high price. I got a beard shaping from Taric, nice guy and he did a good job, but there was a bit of a miscommunication between us and while it looks good and I liked it initially it wasn't what I was hoping for in the end. It also cost me $45. That's a lot for a beard trim, even in Boston. They definitely have skill which is why they get 3 stars from me, but the price isn't worth it in my opinion considering I can get similar quality for half the price elsewhere. The atmosphere of the shop was very nice but that doesn't make it worth more money in my eyes. Edit: my first draft made it sound like I was double charged, and they reached out immediately to make sure that wasn't the case, ready to rectify it if it was. I'm grateful for the good customer service, and I updated this to make it more clear that I was charged the agreed upon amount.

Been a regular customer for over 10 years. Ben is a consummate barber. Most recently, my 2 yo son received his first haircut and he did a phenomenal job with him. He still talks about how much fun he had!

Best haircut I've had in years. Glad I was recommended to give it a try. No surprise that they've won best of Boston a few times. I went to Tom and couldn't be happier with the results. This is my new barber shop.

Excellent service and the best haircut in town. Info out of my way to go to Tweed Barbers. One of the few places I know to get a real straight razor shave in Boston. Ask for Ben.

As someone who is incredibly particular about his hair, I tried a dozen barbershops to find the best fit when I first moved to Boston. Since then, I’ve been going to Ben Junier at Tweed for the past 12+ years and would highly recommend him. Two words that describe my experience with Ben - QUALITY and CONSISTENCY.

I have been going to George for over 10 years and it is long overdue that I leave this review. Tweed is the epitome of a meticulously run barbershop. Every haircut with George is something I look forward to. I always walk out feeling fresh and like the best version of myself. It is worth every minute of my drive and I would not go anywhere else. This place is a true masterclass in barbering. Since Sabrina joined the team she has been an absolute star. Every call and visit starts with her warm and friendly energy and she always makes you feel welcome. Just recently she helped me with a last minute scheduling issue and handled it with so much care, going above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. She is an awesome addition to the team and really elevates the whole experience. If you are anywhere near the South End or even if you are not, do yourself a favor and book here. Best barbershop experience in Boston and maybe the whole state. 10 out of 10 and it will always stay 10 out of 10.

Tarek gave me the best haircut and beard trim I've had in years. Great service, sharp cut, and an awesome shop. Shout-out to Sabrina, I hear she taught him everything he knows 😉. In any case, can't recommend this place highly enough, great barbershop!
