Honey & Comb Salon

Kristin has been cutting my hair for years, as well as doing my hair for a couple events. She’s great at asking questions and checking in throughout the appointment, always making sure I love the end result! The salon is super cute inside and I’ve recommended it to several friends who’ve gone and had great experiences as well.

I went in for a full head of highlights with Kristin. I left with wet hair, and when my hair dried and I got home I realized I had highlights of all different lengths going on along my root. You'll see from the pictures I attached that the highlights near the bottom (front of my head) are closer to the root. Then toward the back of my head (top of photo) the highlights have significantly more distance from the root. I went to another salon shortly after leaving Honey & Comb to get a partial highlight just to fix the to get the back of my part. The salon I went to was shocked in the unevenness of the highlights in my hair. Until I got it fixed, it was very weird to be walking around with normal highlights on the front and just a patch of dark on the back of my head. I had a great experience there, but because of the end result, I'm not happy.

I absolutely love this salon! Jenn is an amazing stylist and always does a great job with my curly hair. I recently went for my appointment and decided it was time for a major haircut and she cut and colored me to perfection! The salon is cozy and intimate and each appointment is like a relaxing time with an old friend. I highly recommend Honey and Comb!!

I’ve been going to Kristin for 4 years, I love her work. She really knows what she’s doing and understand my curls. Kristin still takes classes to learn more about natural textures and it shows. She’s always educating me about my hair and what it needs. The new space is awesome, me and my friend went together and it felt like we were just hanging and having a good time. If you’re a curly hair girl looking for someone to trust with your hair, look no further. I’ve taken two natural hair sisters to her and they love their results each time they go to her.

I am in love with what Kristin did for my hair! I came in for a balayage and she delivered perfectly on what I was asking… a generally subtle lift with some pops of brightness to add dimension. I came here because of great reviews from other curly-haired folks on Google, and they were spot on. She knew so much about curly textures and how to work with curly hair, gave me awesome product recommendations, and I’m loving the end result. I literally got 3 compliments on my hair from random strangers the day after my appointment. It’s always tough finding a new hairdresser for curly hair but I would highly highly recommend Honey & Comb!!!

Jenn has done my hair and my families hair for over 15 years. She is the best hair stylist in Boston. She turned my dark dull brown hair to blonde in the safest and healthiest way possible. This is the cutest salon! You have to check it out. 5 stars!!! Best customer service ever. I will never go anywhere else. Ask for Jenn when making your appointment!

I have been getting my haircut/dyed with Kristin for a couple years now and she is truly the best. Her new place is an extension of her greatness! It has the best vibes and you’ll feel comfortable from the beginning to the very end. She does a great job cutting, styling, and dyeing... I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my 3c curls!
