George is the first person I went to for my black-to-blonde journey—and he’ll probably be the only one! Virgin Asian hair is incredibly difficult to lift, but he just GETS IT! His care and craftsmanship go far beyond my expectations. He truly listens to your vision and somehow never fails to bring it to life. I’m a perfectionist and extremely picky, and I can confidently say I love his work. He works meticulously, with intention behind every step, and always prioritizes keeping your hair healthy while still delivering amazing results. Side note: never seen anyone leave the salon looking less than perfect, the whole team seems very skilled! For all the natural brunettes or black-haired girls who are scared to transition to blonde—THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU ❤️ They are true experts at what they do, and I’m constantly asked where I get my hair done!

Zena is truly amazing. She does my balayage, and somehow every time it’s even better than the last. Her attention to detail is incredible — she’s so meticulous and thoughtful with every step. The color always looks natural and beautifully blended, and people constantly stop me to ask where I get my hair done. I completely trust her with my hair and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

It was my first time visiting this salon, and I had such a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is welcoming, so clean, and relaxing, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. You can tell the team truly cares about their clients and the quality of their work. I felt comfortable, listened to, and well taken care of the entire time. Street parking is easy to find, and they even have yummy candies that make the visit extra sweet. The attention to detail and overall vibe make it a place I’m excited to come back to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a salon that delivers both great service and great results.

I absolutely love Zena at Haute Coiffure! I found her when I first moved to Boston after seeing she had lots of experience with Asian-type hairs as I have extremely thick and coarse hair so it requires particular cutting and styling techniques. And have had poor experiences in the past with inexperienced hairstylists. I’ve been to her for color (a balayage) as well and am always very happy with the results.

Needed my first balayage since I moved to Boston. I’m so glad I decided to trust Eddie with the process! He took his time with the hair, showed me options, and stayed very late to get the colors just right!

Eddie did a great job with my haircut. He listened to what I wanted, made a few helpful suggestions, and the result turned out exactly right. The cut is clean, modern, and perfectly suits my face and hair type. I walked out feeling confident and refreshed, which doesn’t happen easily. On top of the incredible skill, Eddie is professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about his clients looking and feeling their best. I’ve been going to Zena for a year and a half now, and it’s so hard to find someone who listens, understands, and always delivers. I’m a brunette with fine hair and grey roots so it can be difficult to keep my hair the way I want it. I also keep balayage for dimension. She is truly an artist. She is the sweetest person and makes you feel so comfortable. I cannot recommend her enough. I will follow her to her retirement if she let’s me 🙂
