Ethan is hands down the best hair stylist in Boston. I am extremely picky about blowouts and haircuts, and he always delivers the most meticulous results. His blowouts are bouncy, sleek, and effortlessly chic every single time. Beyond his talent, Ethan has the best energy and is an incredible listener; he truly hears client feedback, takes it seriously, and executes it perfectly. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about hair products and always makes spot-on recommendations. Ryan, who runs the front desk, is equally amazing - so helpful, polite, and consistently professional, with an impressive knowledge of the products as well. The entire Avanti team is fantastic when it comes to scheduling and accommodating even the most challenging schedules, which makes such a difference. Avanti is my absolute favorite and go-to salon in Boston, all thanks to Ethan and Ryan.

The experience at Avanti is lux without being pretentious or affected. True class versus feigned. The reception greeters and schedulers are glamorous and friendly! Imagine that! Hair salons can stress me out w their affected nonsense but Avanti is old style class /understated, warm, friendly. The stylists are top notch. It's great skill and a great culture. The cappuccino was delicious

Avanti is a little bit hard to find on Newbury Street but once you do find it, oh my, it is worth it. Gio is my stylist and I have such a great time with him. Hair is one of those things, to me, that is an important service. It's something that's a personal expression that is with you all day, every day. And it's equally important to have a stylist that you can not only trust, but really look forward going in to see. Gio and I get along famously and I couldn't be happier to have found him. This isn't one of those high end salons where you walk in and they treat you they're they're too good for you. Every person here is kind and amazing. Their stylists are all listed online, take your time, review each person and see who fits your personality.

I’ve seen Christian at Avanti Salon twice now and it’s been the best haircut and blowout experiences I’ve ever had! My hair has never looked better, and I get nonstop compliments every time. I’m super particular about blowouts, and Christian absolutely nails it — the shape, the finish, everything. You can tell he truly cares about his craft and about making sure you feel amazing walking out the door!! He is genuinely kind and so easy to talk to, which makes the appointment even more enjoyable. I’ve been seeing Audrey for 12 years, (since she was in hair school). She’s the only person I trust with my hair- coloring, cuts, all of it. I’m blonde and her highlights are always perfect; she just gets it every time. She’s also done many updos on me over the years and they always come out beautiful. She’s friendly, funny, truly knows hair. She has been with Avanti for years & it’s such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend booking with her!

People tell me I’m a handsome man… and honestly, I feel like I owe a good portion of that to Jae. I walk in with a vague idea of what I want, and she somehow carves it out like Michelangelo working from marble. Every cut feels intentional, clean, and tailored - she’s an artist with scissors and clippers. The salon itself is always spotless, calm, and beautifully run. And I have to shout out Hanna and Caroline, who are consistently friendly, organized, and on top of the logistics. They make the whole experience seamless. If you want a haircut that actually speaks, I would highly recommend Jae.
