Goshen Salon

This was the worst experience that I had in my whole life. The first one was the picture that I showed Christine about what I want. The second one was what she did to my hair after two hair washes. Only two washes, it basically like straight. I went back to them and they even did not admit that they have done a poor job, instead they blamed my hair. There was no apology, no refund and I even cannot redo it as it will damage my hair if I do two perms within such short period. The third photo was my hair permed somewhere else 2 years ago and just to compare what a bad job they have done!

I've been getting perms for 15 years in both the U.S. and Korea, and I know I can trust Jo with my hair. One of the most important things I look for in a stylist is whether they handle the process with care to minimize damage — and Jo absolutely does. Unfortunately, many salons don’t take the necessary precautions when it comes to perms and chemical treatments. A perm is a complex process that requires attention to timing, heat, the chemicals used, and, most importantly, your hair type. Damage is inevitable to some degree with any chemical treatment like perms, but I’ve consistently walked out of Jo’s salon with healthy hair that lasts. I would definitely recommend Jo for any perm treatment — she really knows what she’s doing.

I’ve been going to Goshen for two years and have had a great experience every visit. The first time I got my haircut here I was blown away with how well it turned out. I’ve moved almost two hours away and I still make time to get my haircut here.

Maybe too busy of a place than they ought to be. Went here for many years until the hair designers that I got my cuts and perms from either moved away or went independent. I don’t know if it’s the junior designer taking appointments here, but I was rudely ignored when asking for the nearest date/time available for an appointment here with a newer designer that I cut my hair here with last year. The person insisted that I book with a junior designer and would not let me know of the schedule for the one I got my cut from before, which is why I think it’s the new junior designer just greedily trying to book a schedule to practice on. Never had an issue with this before, but it’s safe to say I will probably not return.

Went in for a cut and perm the other day - great experience overall, I’m really satisfied with the end result. Jenny was my stylist and I really appreciated her expertise and care, she made sure I was informed and considered the options for my hair texture and condition. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I’ve been to a few other salons in the Seattle area, but I’ll be sticking to this place moving onward. Definitely recommend!

Had a great experience at Goshen. Jo was my stylist. Before my visit, we spent time discussing the hair style through text. During my visit, she still did her best communicating different options to me. Through the entire experience, she shows her patience and profession. Will definitely revisit the salon! Covid info: As a side note, they are taking the current situation seriously. Customers are asked to stay outside until they were sanitized and put on a full-length disposable clothes. They took care of all the stuff (including phones) for the customers to make sure we were not touching any un-sanitized items during our visit. I feel very safe during the entire process. Thank you!
