Before going in to see Alice, my last professional hair cut was about 8 years ago. In between that time, I always ended up cutting my own hair because no matter who cut my hair, I almost always felt dissatisfied. I have thick Asian hair that is wavy in some parts and strait in other parts. It’s also dry so I struggle with frizz and keeping my hair smooth. Finding someone who was able to understand the texture and wave pattern of my hair was important to me. I’m so glad a close friend of mine introduced me to Alice because for the first time in 8 years, I can wear my hair down and be satisfied with how it lays on my shoulders. Despite my hair texture, Alice knew exactly how to cut and layer my hair. Even if I don’t use any products or style it, my hair still falls and settles so nicely. Alice was so great at asking questions regarding my hair goals and suggesting styles that would fit my hair type. She was also so fun to just talk to as she worked her magic on my hair! If it wasn’t for Alice, my hair would be constantly clipped up or under a hat. All this to say, I’m so glad I don’t have to cut my own hair anymore! I’ve trusted Alice with my hair for years now and I can confidently say she is the best of the best! As a blonde, it’s hard to find someone you trust with the color you want, but Alice has never failed to make me leave the salon with a smile because she CRUSHES blonde!! Aside from that, she is fun, kind, punctual and has the best snack cart! The salon is also clean with an amazing ambiance and vibe. I have gotten my haircut twice now with Alice, and both times I have not been disappointed! I went to Alice a couple of weeks ago, desperate for some movement and health back to my PP hair. She asked the right questions and listened to my vision. She is excellent and I am so in love with my hair! Plus the vibe of the salon is super luxe!

I found Alice through IG by chance and I was very excited to get a hair cut from her. She really knows her stuff and understands what style to do based on not just preference but lifestyle and habits. As a busy mom, I needed something low maintenance but still stylish. She's also super friendly and made me feel comfortable and didn't force me into chit-chat. I can't wait to get another haircut from Alice and visit the new Bellevue location of Salon 44. Absolutely loved the space here, so chic and inviting (snacks everywhere!) and parking if fairly easy.

I had been getting my hair cut at Sports Place or Supper Place and then by my spouse during the pandemic. My spouse suggested I get a real haircut and I went to Alice. I cannot explain how nice it is to have my hair feel good on my head and look good too. Alice is always fun and professional. I recommend her for anyone wanting a great haircut experience.
