This review is long overdue as life got really busy after Christian cut my hair. He did such an amazing job! I went in the salon with skepticism as I'm Asian and my hair is straight, fine, and thin. I tried a few stylists in the Baltimore area since moving here but hadn't found one who can really work with my hair and give me the results I wanted. I found Christian through Reddit as some people recommended him for Asian hair. As I walked into the salon, Christian spent quite some time listening to what I wanted and explaining his approach to cutting. He was also understanding about my skepticism and worries. His cut turned out great, as he was able to create some volume at the top of my head but not around it, so my face could look thin. That's exactly what I hoped. His price is also reasonable in the Baltimore area. I'll definitely go back!

Sarah was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable for my first ever curly hair cut. She gave me great tips that I am very excited to implement. Most importantly she was very considerate and respectful to my cultural needs. I’m really glad we’ll be working together!

Great atmosphere ! Both Christian and Sarah are lovely, wonderful people !! I personally tho to Sarah and she’s done my hair several times and I would trade her for anything !!!! Attached are pictures of the most recent thing I got done through Sarah. She’s strives to get a perfect result. She won’t give up until she puts a bright smile on your face and I don’t see that anymore, everyone is focused on getting that $$ and don’t care much for results. She knows exactly what she’s doing especially when it comes to the curly headed community ❤️

I can’t speak highly enough of Werks Trichology. Every time I’m there I’m treated like family and feel so welcome and comfortable. Sarah is an amazing curl specialist who is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and kind. On our first visit, Sarah was angelically patient and gentle with my 3yo, who was very emotional and difficult to manage through his first haircut. I imagine any other salon would’ve politely asked us to leave, but Christian and Sarah helped make the best of an otherwise very stressful parenting moment. They are truly wonderful. The next time, I came for myself and Sarah worked her magic to bring my curls back to life after years of dealing with health related hair issues. Each time I’ve been, she puts thoughtful consideration into explaining hair care and education during our conversation as she cuts and styles so I know how best to care for my hair, and what kinds of products to use so I can get the best results at home. Sarah is also very talented at doing color and has given my hair a much needed color refresh. Her and Christian were a delight to spend the day with as she worked diligently to achieve the color results she curated from a series of screenshots and vague ideas I had. I have since received so many complements on the color and curls both at work and while out and about. The 1.5 hour drive from Northern VA is more than worth it for getting to sit in Sarah’s chair. She listens, makes informed recommendations and executes with care and precision. I have complete faith in her abilities. I would highly recommended anyone looking for a trusted hair specialist to visit Sarah at Werks Trichology.

I am so impressed with Sarah and Werks Trichology, they have a new loyal customer. Sarah and Christian were professional, the studio was clean, they had great products, and I had a fantastic experience. Sarah is so knowledgeable when it comes to curly hair. She even gave me great tips on how to maintain and style my hair. Sarah also styled my hair for my wedding and I’ve never been more impressed. My curls were still defined after 8+ hours of wear. The weather was humid and slightly rainy, but my hair wasn’t frizzy at all - I credit that to Sarah’s styling, and the products she used. I’m excited to come back in a few months for my next haircut with her.
