Prive Salon & Spa At Locust Point

I recently had the worst haircut experience of my life at Prive. I went in for a trim and made it very clear to the stylist, Mark, that I didn’t want a wedge cut—I absolutely cannot stand that style! More importantly, I specifically asked him not to touch the section of hair in the back that I had been growing out. I couldn’t have been more explicit. I wanted a sleek bob that would beautifully frame my face. Instead, what I got looked like someone randomly hacked at my hair with no skill. The layers were uneven, the cut was jagged, and there were noticeable chunks missing from the sides. The back looked like a jumbled mess of different lengths. Worst of all, the section I had been carefully growing out was chopped off completely. The sides looked like something Edward Scissorhands would create if left unchecked. To make matters worse, Mark didn’t seem concerned at all. When I expressed my disappointment, he didn’t offer any suggestions or even apologize. I contacted the owner, who offered to fix it, but that was a waste of time. No amount of fixing could undo the damage of the original cut. Now, every time I look in the mirror, I’m reminded of this hair disaster. This was an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. If you're looking for a great haircut, I suggest you go somewhere else. This is one mistake I won’t be repeating. While I appreciate the effort to fix things, the original cut was so off that nothing could save it. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Prive, and I’ll be wearing hats for a while.

I love this place it's beautiful, clean, and very roomy. Mandy is the best I love her I followed her from two diffrent shops b4 this one. She take her time, she listens and meet your needs. She never rush your service like others do when new money walks through the door. She's attentive, polite, caring, professional and a wonderful person. I even take my granddaughter to get her nails done too🥰 If you want a relaxing professional experience you must visit Mandy. You will definitely revisit her establishment if not make her your permanent nail technician. She also offer a variety of othere services like facials. You will not be disappointed I promise you!!

The entire team at Prive was amazing from start to finish. Scheduling my haircut was super easy, and when I arrived early, one of the stylists greeted me with a big smile and kindly asked me to wait. Nicole took the time to understood exactly what I wanted and did an incredible job cutting my hair. Jen, the owner, stopped by a few times to say hello, which made the experience even more welcoming.

Followed Maria here. Thought I was lost but discovered a great area in haven't visited in many years. Excellent salon, non-rushed service with talented kind Maria. I shall return!

I am so incredibly happy with my hair thanks to Lisa!! She took her time with me, listened to exactly what I wanted, and was very thoughtful throughout the whole process. I could never imagine that my hair could look this good. Thank you so much Prive! I will definitely be back.

How do you define a good hair stylist? They give a good cut, one that looks perfect leaving the shop and remains that way the next morning when you wake up. They treat you like a new client even after styling your hair for years. They are friendly and spending time in their chair makes you feel better when you leave than when you arrived. One that you stay with for almost 40 years. CHAS is all that and more!

Had a great (as always!) experience this past weekend! Nicole was my stylist, and once again, she made me feel like a million bucks! Beautiful, clean, and friendly!
