I had an absolute dream appointment with Jo and Emira. Jo completely transformed the color of my locs from my faded red to a beautiful purple into pink ombré that I am completely in love with. Emira then took the beautiful canvas that Jo turned me into, and did a masterfully talented loc style that I’m so in love with. I really appreciate their attention to detail and I love how Emira encouraged me to go on Pinterest and find fun loc styles for us to experiment with together. Will be a repeat client! Definitely book with Two Strand Salon!! I also had a hydration treatment with Neah the week prior to set my hair up for success by being the most hydrated before my services. Ashley is amazing! She reties my microlocs quickly and always does a great job. She’s pleasant, professional, and my color is always on point. I constantly get compliments on my hair and always leave my appointments feeling satisfied. Highly recommend!

After a year of neglecting the health of my hair, Monique brought my curls to life for me. The salon is amazing overall from ambiance to professionalism. I was offered water and snacks while waiting for my hair to dry forever and the stylists continued to check on my comfort. I tried to avoid complaining but it’s like they read my mind anyway and made sure I was good lol. I’ll be back of course.

Love the experience at this Salon from check-in to leaving the salon. They salon has an amazing, well designed cohesive clean look inside. The staff are friendly. My loctician Monique is AMAZING!!!! I love how well she takes care of my hair everything she does it. She never rushes with my hair.

I just left a loc consultation with Josanne. Her communication is excellent, her chairside manner is compassionate and friendly but still totally professional, and she proposed a very personalized care plan to overcome the difficulties I’ve been facing with mental illness and vitamin deficiency causing setbacks with my hair. I feel very cared for. I’ve been coming to Two Strand’s Northwood location for almost a year and every stylist here has been nothing but excellent. I’m tender headed and NONE of the stylists at Two Strand manhandle my hair, which is uncommon for an entire salon in my experience. As an autistic woman, I get easily overstimulated from the lights and music on top of my hair being manipulated, but the stylists here have always been very understanding when I need to take breaks, get some air, and when I wear sunglasses in their brightly-lit workspace. I REALLY love this salon!
