Since my 1st appointment, Ms. Donita has been phenomenal. She came highly recommended by a friend of a client and she did not disappoint at all. My hair was already cut short but the personal touches she added to it just made it look even better. She is a professional, caring, hardworking, and highly experienced hairstylist and I’m so happy she accepted me as a new client. The atmosphere in the salon is so relaxing and calm. She interacts with ALL of her clients and treats everyone as if they are her only client. I love how she pays attention to detail and don’t rush your services. She is definitely a God sent and I am truly blessed to have her in my life. She is not just my hairstylist, she became family.

After being without an hairstylist for well over 2 years ..an associate of mines recommended me to Mrs Donita , … Ms. Donita , was & is incredibly attentive. She took the time to understand my hair concerns custom to my needs. I left with a stunning new look that exceeded my expectations. I think I finally found a new home lol

I wanted to change so I decided to cut my hair off. I went on Google to find the best hair stylist for haircuts and this is tangled popped up. I googled her like her work also new people that went to her came out looking a whole different person love my new lookthe best hair cut stylist and Baltimore City.

It was meant to be. Yesterday I called Mrs Donita hoping she had availability before mother's day and she did. Fast forward to appointment day Mrs Donita was very hospitable and she was very knowledgeable about my hair needs.not going to lie I went years with getting braids until the point of my hair being damaged I was very embarrassed when I sat in her chair because I didn't want to be judge and I didn't know how my hair would turn out ....BOy it was a blessing having her tend to my hair. I got up from the chair and wanted to cry Mrs Donita hands are blessed and work wonders. I'm so thankful for coming to her. I recommend anyone to go see her for your hair needs you won't be disappointed. Her shop is also very clean and comfortable the atmosphere is so welcoming. Thank you so much Mrs Donita for bringing my hair back to life and making me feel like I'm beautiful. 100/100 5 stars isn't enough. Can't wait for my next appointment I've found my hair home.

I met Donita by chance a year or so ago, and she gave me her card, so when I was on IG looking for someone to refine and style my existing haircut, her page came up and instantly remembered meeting her, reached out and booked a visit. Donita is very very pleasant and down to earth, someone I could see myself being friends with. The shop was cute and clean and her existing clients were also pleasant. She took her time styling to perfection and My hair came out beautifully and lasted well past the normal 2 days for a pixie. Also, she made a follow up call the next day to see if I was still happy with my hair! That is customer service / retention at it's finest 👌! The main thing that didn't work for ME was the time spent in the salon. It's been YEARS, that I've been to a salon where the stylist double books without a shampoo/prep person so that kinda threw my planned day off and I had to pivot and rush around the following day to make up for things I wanted to get done that day. I had an 11:30 am appointment and did not leave the shop until after 8 pm, due to the 6 people she had there at the same time. I will say she was consistently working and not messing around, chatting on the phone or taking multiple breaks, it was just too many people ahead of me for me to get out in what I perceive to be resonable. Would I ever return? Absolutely, as long as I can get the 1st or 2nd slot...LOL Would I recommend Donita and Tangles Salon? Yes, but with the time disclaimer. Also, it is in downtown Baltimore and parking is not easily available. So if you can get a ride, Uber or Lyft I suggest that you do. In conclusion, if you're looking for a pleasant stylist who is awesome with short cuts, a lovely salon space with a great atmosphere, this is the place to visit.

My stylist is amazing keep me on point always with my hair I love my new cut she keeps me tight get compliments all the time from the young females and the Elders as well ❤️
