Shy Watters Hair Studio is truly TOP TIER ✨ I’ve been a Shy Watters client for a little over a year now, and I can confidently say I’m a client for LIFE. I’ve known the owner for years and always admired her flawless work. When she introduced me to the clip-in installation process, we booked my first appointment, and the rest was history. From the moment I walked in, the customer service exceeded my expectations. I was greeted with a warm smile by the Shy Watters intern, my coat was taken and secured, and I was offered water, wine, or champagne. The experience was seamless and efficient. My entire appointment took no more than two and a half hours, and I walked out feeling amazing. A few months later, I decided I wanted something edgier. Shy immediately said, "Oh, Ame is who you want," and she was absolutely right. Yes, I proudly have two hairstylists 🤩. I book my appointments six months in advance because they stay booked and busy, and I refuse to miss a spot. The environment is always classy. No raunchy conversations, no inappropriate music, just an elevated, professional atmosphere. And you never know who you’ll run into. The movers and shakers of the DMV are regulars here. A truly phenomenal salon! My hair is the most healthy it’s been in years. The treatments have helped my hair grow and I’ve also learned how to better care for my hair in between. I recently had my first silk press and trim done by Kailah Richardson, and it was an incredible experience! I have been coming to this salon for several years and my hair has never been so long and healthy! Ame is my stylist, and I’ve had so many people compliment my hair since I’ve been going to her. She is great with so many different services — silk presses, weaves, color, etc. She is also just a genuinely nice person who listens to her clients and offers sound guidance based on her years of experience.
