I had my hair done by William at Ulta for a wedding back in July (I was a bridesmaid), and I was so impressed with his work! He gave me a silk press that looked amazing and held up so well ( my natural hair is really curly) —even in the summer heat during the wedding. He’s professional, talented, and really knows what he’s doing. I left feeling confident and beautiful. Definitely recommend William if you’re looking for someone who delivers great results!!

Should be zero stars. Ordered an item for pickup this morning. Total cost with points and discounts - $5.81. Ran inside to grab it, showed the cashier my email with the bar code, and she asked for an id. I had a photo of my id. She couldn't release it without my actual ID. I asked for the manager who came around the counter and said 'Nope. We can't release it without your physical license. It was in the email.' I wasn't driving home and she wasn't giving a single thought to how to solve this any other way. I told her to cancel the order. I took the product and waited in line to purchase it. A good manager would have done exactly this for me in one minute instead of standing in front of a fully functional cash register telling me there was nothing she could do. Her final comment to me - 'next time you come, bring your license.' I told her not to worry . . . I wouldn't be back.

I visited Ulta for a consultation to confirm pricing and ensure the stylist understood exactly what I wanted. I even provided a photo for reference. While the consultation went smoothly, the end result was not what I requested—my roots came out a completely different color. I returned for a complimentary correction, as the issue was caused by the initial service. Unfortunately, after the second attempt, my roots were still not the correct color. I then spoke with the salon manager, but I was told I would need to pay out of pocket for another correction. Given that the stylist had been shown exactly what I wanted and had made the same mistake twice, I do not believe I should be responsible for additional costs. At this point, I feel I have no choice but to have my roots corrected elsewhere, as I am concerned about paying again and still not receiving the color I requested. The lack of support from the salon manager was disappointing, as I had hoped the situation would be resolved fairly. This was the reference photo I provided, and this was the outcome of my service.

Claudia was amazing! She was so friendly and listened carefully to what I wanted. My haircut turned out exactly how I imagined. Highly recommend her!

I’m an anxious person when it comes to my hair. I had a longtime stylist who moved away, and after a couple of really bad experiences, I was honestly nervous and vulnerable when I first came to Carlie a few years ago. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust with my hair. She doesn’t just "do" hair — she listens, asks thoughtful questions, and gives genuinely helpful feedback. I can describe a vibe or a feeling, and she immediately gets it. She’s never the type to just say "sure, whatever you want." She’ll talk through options, suggest ideas, and help me think about what will actually work for my lifestyle. She considers every angle, and I appreciate that more than I can say. There’s a bond with a stylist that’s hard to replicate, and Carlie has that rare mix of skill, intuition, and kindness. My daughter sees her now too, and I honestly can’t imagine going to anyone else at this point. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found her. She’s incredibly talented, she creates hair I get constant compliments on, and she makes me feel confident every time I leave her chair. She’s truly one of a kind.

I never go to Ulta but my husband insisted on getting a perfume for me so we went with my toddler right before her nap time... bad idea. Fortunately I think her name was Olivia? It definitely started with an O. Saw me struggling with my toddler in the long line throwing herself on the ground and she pulled me to the side and checked me out on her tablet thing. I don't leave the house much and when I do I normally encounter rude and inconsiderate people but this was not the case. It was really refreshing to talk with someone who has compassion for a tired mother who was clearly struggling with an over tired toddler. We made it back in time for her nap because of that and I appreciate it more that I know how to express. Thank you Olivia! (I really hope I'm using the right name lol)

If I could give no stars I would after witnessing the way they treated my mother on 1/24/2025. She went specifically for a hair cut and highlights. She has beautiful long hair, but wanted to change it up a bit after not doing anything to it for over 10 years. But instead of leaving beautiful, they made her feel like crap. They gave her gray all over highlights, even though she asked for highlights to complement her BROWN hair, which she says, "make her feel as if she aged and unpretty". Seeing her break down when I hugged her, knowing she was just trying to lift her self-confidence filled me with such rage. Yet still she has to pay $344. Honestly, I believe there are some incredible hairstylists, Ive gotten my hair cut there and it was amazing, but some just like to take advantage of the situation. Hair stylist: Claudia S. If you need to get your hair cut here, just make sure you have an understanding what they are doing and how their pricing goes. Or i suggest going to other more qualified places. 🙂 Hope they have they have the day they deserve
