Came twice for a hair cut and a lightning. Taylor did an excellent job. There was great communication and the place has a really nice atmosphere; really makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Especially for a first time to get your hair done and are not sure where to go and may be nervous on what to say what you want-this is the place to go to.

**UPDATE** I would still like to clearly state that I had a bad experience here with Reygun doing my hair. Them as a person, they were nice and it was a fine interaction. As for my hair, I didn't get what I asked for and bluntly stated, they did a pretty bad job on my hair and overcharged me. After leaving a poor review Raven ( the owner who I have had my hair done by before) reached out to me and fixed my hair for free. They did an amazing job. I absolutely love my hair and feel the way I should have the first time around. It was not fun having to go through having my hair not being what I wanted it, and it was awkward for me having to complain about it, but I will say that Raven has a lot of integrity and professionalism and corrected the mistakes that were made. They are a very talented stylist with amazing haircutting skills. They can layer and shape thick hair like no one I've ever been to! (And I've been to a lot of stylists in my years.) There are a lot of talented hair artists at this salon. I would just be careful with who you go to especially if you have a lot of hair. Hopefully this was a learning experience and good can come out of it. I'm bumping up my stars to 5 because again Raven came through with an absolute stunning cut and color correction that will be looking good for a while. I appreciate it A TON.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I would hate for someone to feel like I do. It’s been a few months since I had my haircut with Raven. I wish I could say that it was all that I have hoped for, but it was not. I came in for a cut and color consultation. Prior to the appointment her assistant called and asked me to come in a hour early, which I did. Upon arrival Raven tried to talk me out of the appointment; wanted to reschedule for another day because I wanted a coloring. Either way the coloring was not going to happen that day, I just came in for a cut/consult so I did not understand the need to reschedule. She was definitely in a rush. She had plans to go see her partner that lived a distance away. I really wanted my hair cut, had waited months for the appointment, and my birthday was that weekend. The color consultation was a complete joke, just a cash grab. The cut was AWFUL. TERRIBLE. She skipped layering on one side of my head completely. She seemed distracted during the whole cut. I came in with long hair, so much potential. She offered to "fix" my hair, but there was so much that was gone, I did not want to risk further trauma. She used a dull razor on my hair and left me with so much damage. It was heartbreaking. Think twice. It’s not worth the wait. The bangs… 😭 I’ve never hated my hair more. She claims to be a professional/educator/instructor - yet this is the way she handles her clientele. Her assistant was nice.

I’ve been really disappointed with my experiences here. I often left with results that didn’t reflect what I asked for where wrong products were used, changes were made I never requested, and it felt like my instructions were forgotten. After spending so much money, I was left feeling frustrated and like I didn’t get what I paid for. On top of that, the atmosphere didn’t feel as inclusive or professional as it appears online. There were times when the staff had inappropriate and unprofessional conversations in front of clients, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. That said, some of the stylists here are genuinely talented and kind, and I know others may have had positive experiences. Unfortunately, between the results I received and the environment, I don’t feel comfortable coming back.

YALL!! Raven (Owner) is first of all so so kind, listens to whatever you would like and serves exactly that, and mainly, does the BEST haircuts ever. I have had my hair cut by them 2 times, and each time I left gleaming with happiness because of how amazing I look. Not to mention the kindness I was treated with, too! Please, Ignore the one star reviews, this place is amazing. 🥹🌷🤍

My preteen and I have become regulars here for razor cuts and have always had really positive experiences. Our last cut was with Raven and not only was she kind, but she was so patient with my daughter and trying to get the right look she wanted. We have yet to be disappointed with our cuts and get exactly what we ask for. The salon itself has become a real safe space too. Each time Ive been, all guests and workers end up in joyful conversation together. It’s just a really fun environment.

I LOVE THIS SALON SO MUCH 🫶🏽 this is my third time coming here and it’s been amazing! First time with Raven because I saw her on tiktok and she was so sweet and welcoming for my first appointment. My haircut with her was lovely! Everyone complimented my hair and my favorite part was the curtain bangs. And then I followed other stylist there and met Kat on her Instagram. Ever since I met Kat we clicked and I love her! She makes me look good these past two visits! My first time with her was a mullet and I was nervous it would not look good on me but I really wanted one! She encouraged me and made me feel so beautiful! In the end I loved the mullet and got sooooo many compliments! My second visit with her I told her I wanted color and cut but this time not too short with the mullet bc I’m a lazy person and with the short layers I had to wake up earlier to fix haha! I was heard and she left my layers longer and trim what needed to be trimmed. And guess what? KAT MADE ME LOOK SO GOOD AGAIN! I had a party that same day and got so many compliments. I have finally found my stylist 🖤 overall all the stylist here are very talented. I haven’t got cuts from other stylist but if you follow their Instagram you can see the talent there! I’m 100% you will find your stylist here! I posted pics of my hair cuts here so far!
