I can’t do this rating per individual stylist so I hate that this has to be overall for the shop but I have to help other people avoid the experience I had with Keoni. This is not a reflection of the shop itself other than the fact that they continue to employ him. I have had him do my hair in the past but never color. The person who used to do my color unfortunately is no longer in town. I reached out to Keoni to say exactly what I wanted which was a blonde highlight and brown low light with a touch of purple highlights. I even provided him with a picture of how the previous person had done my hair which I included below. He assured me he could do my hair the way I wanted. He started by using a lightener to get my existing color out and I later found out he was using cheap product and mixing brands which explains why literally my hair has been breaking and falling out for weeks since he did my hair. After completely over processing my hair and taking the color out, he started blowdrying it while it was still all completely brassy and over processed so I asked him what he was doing and he said that was what I asked for….there were no highlights nor low lights nor color added. So then he got an attitude as was like well what you want brown and purple? I can add color. He was very hostile and ended up literally throwing color very angrily on my hair and that is what the outcome was of the middle picture. I had to come back another day with Sandra who thankfully is the sweetest spirit who witnessed the whole thing and felt so bad for me she invented an appointment time so I wouldn’t have to go to my anniversary trip looking like a real life skunk. She put a deep conditioner treatment on it and some really high end products but it couldn’t stop the damage. I spent almost $300 in product to try to repair the damage and almost a month later it is literally just stopped falling out in handfuls and breaking off significantly in the sink. If I didn’t have the money to buy all that product I’m certain I would have lost a large portion of my hair. She already had to cut inches off due to the damage and couldn’t do the color the way I wanted due to the product he put on it so I had to go virtually black. I’m not an emotional person but I cried so hard leaving there and had a lot of distress resulting from this. Insult to injury was how he treated me like I was less than human. He should have said from the beginning he didn’t know what he was doing and referred me to Sandra to begin with knowing she specializes in color. He even had the audacity to get mad at me because he saw me staring at Sandra’s clients hair as she finished it because it looked so remarkable and he was like oh what you want her to do your hair. Such a horrible experience. I normally don’t leave reviews and honestly this is super embarrassing to post but when a month later I’m still dealing with the ramifications I feel like other people should know so they can avoid the heartache.

I have been going to see Leslie C for many years as my barber and I loved her energy and professionalism so much I also take my kids to her for their haircuts. She has always been great with them and they always get excited when they know they are going to see her. She always works with my busy schedule and I know I can count on her for great and excellent service.

As a boutique owner, I take a lot of photos each week for our website. I am so happy I found an affordable, local, and professional stylist who maintains my hair to be healthy and natural! I recommend seeing Keoni if you are looking for a blow out or silk press.

I’ve been going to Leslie for quite sometime for regular haircuts and she always does such an amazing job! I recently wanted to try color and it turned out incredible! Super attentive to detail, comfortable to be around and easy to talk to. I always look forward to my appointments with her!

She took the time to show me diff shades of red and mixed diff colors to get the color I wanted. Walked me through what to expect and updates on times as we went on. As a person she is super funny and sweet, time flew by when we were together.

Not only is she incredibly skilled and professional, but they also she’s very nice, she truly listen to what I want and consistently deliver results that exceed my expectations.
