As someone with dark hair, finding a stylist who can highlight and blend effectively is a challenge, but his technique is absolutely flawless. Cam has a gift for artistry that makes the grow-out process look effortless; the blend is so seamless that my hair stays looking natural and fresh for months. Every haircut is precise, tailored perfectly to me, and easily the best I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers this level of expertise and attention to detail. If you want a stylist who truly understands color theory and precision cutting, I couldn’t recommend Cam more highly!

The first picture shows how long and overdue her hair was, the second picture captures Sam working his magic, and the third shows the stunning final result. Sam was patient, gentle, and truly listened to what my daughter wanted. He made her feel comfortable the entire time and delivered a cut that brought out her natural beauty. Cam was awesome! I asked for a haircut a celebrity stylist in Westlake said they didn’t feel comfortable doing and Cam did an awesome job executing! I’ll be returning for a color appointment. I asked for the Korean 2-1 bob I saw on instagram on my existing outgrown color (don’t judge him on that because I didn’t have time to have him tone from a previous salon)

If you’re looking for someone who truly understands hair, go see Cam, aka Master Cam. I went in for a haircut with lifeless layers and grown-out, awkward bangs that I didn’t know how to fix. Cam completely revived my style. He reshaped everything beautifully, added movement, and brought my hair back to life without sacrificing length. You can tell he’s meticulous and intentional with his work. I am in love with my new haircut, and I already have friends saying they want to book at Smooshine after seeing it. I’ll absolutely be going back to him for his air touch balayage in the future. Highly recommend!!

I LOVE my hair!! There’s a reason he’s called Master Cam — he’s truly a master at what he does. My hair has been through a lot, and I’ve never felt fully happy with past results until now. Asian hair can be so tough to work with, but he completely nailed it! The color, blend, and dimension are all stunning. He explained everything throughout the process, and I learned so much.
