Vinyl Beauty Bar is one of Austin’s coolest hidden gems…laid-back, stylish, and full of energy. The atmosphere is on point, and the live shows bring together incredible local talent alongside standout touring bands. It’s the kind of place where great music, good vibes, and Austin culture collide.

Gabby is an amazing nail artist! She is skilled in Japanese gel, manicures and a delight to work with...so much that I followed her from her previous locations! I can always share nail inspirations with her and she comes up with creative ways to make my nail art pop. She knows a lot about nail care and has recommended cuts and upkeep so my hands look great. And vinyl beauty is THE PLACE TO GO if you love being surrounded by art, music and creatives (not to mention, their disco ball drink is AMAZING!) 😍 🪩🍹💅🏼✨💚Highly recommend!

I didn’t do much research just booked this place on a whim. Did a basic gel manicure and I was not disappointed! The tech was very meticulous and look at the perfection!! I am obsessed with the color! I received a nice hot oil massage at the end on my hands! Much needed. I also had a massage with Angel beforehand. I had no expectations, and she did not disappoint. It was a deep tissue massage for sure. It’s not for the weak 🤣🤣! Omg! But it was so good! The massage takes place in the upstairs loft so you can hear the music and conversations from downstairs, but it didn’t bother me. The salon was slow, so it was still very relaxing. I highly recommend this place! I just can’t imagine a better place to get your nails and a massage within the same day and at the same place! I will be back.

I have a problem sharing which is why it's taken me quite some time to write this review. I stumbled on Vinyl when looking for a vegan/eco conscious salon. I have now been going to Vinyl Beauty Bar to see the amazing Gabs for almost two years. Her nail art is amazing, but she is a just an amazing human being which why it such a treat to go for services. From Japanese gel to structure manicures Gabs is an amazing artist. While I could go on and on about Gabs, I want to highlight everyone at Vinyl as always been so kind and a blast to be around, you truly cannot go wrong with the people or variety of service they offer.

I love Vinyl and it loves me back. The salon is a mirror reflecting my style, and my stylist there, Doug, has witnessed my spirals over time and held space for my expression to unfold. I dare not step away from his skilled cuts. Many long-time artists and musicians here. Me and this place have resonance, and there is so much that I adore in this vibey, laid-back, lofty parlor space: vinyl, grooming, scents, art, creative bar menu, body work, and event night-time live music shows weekly! Locally loyal. That’s why I know I love it here.

First time client. Vibrant establishment. Everyone is friendly. As o was checking in the owner acknowledged a client when she walked in by name- saying I’ll be with you shortly. I turned to her and said, that’s pretty cool to be greeted by your name when you walk in the building- she said yes, I’ve been coming her for a while and love the personal attention- we both laughed. Cha Cha did my pedicure and the experience was uniques- it’s not a traditional mail bar - which sets them apart from being "just like the others" Parking is convenient.

Update; 8/20/2025 - thanks to Gabs my natural nails are strong and healthy! I absolutely love getting my manaicures done by her, when I dont know what to get on my nails, she offers some suggestions and executes her vision perfectly! Seriously, go and book an appointment! SEE PHOTOS OF THE NAILS SHE HAS CREATED! ------------ Second time getting a pedicure by Gabs, and she did an amazing job! Love the vibe of VB! They offer complimentary drinks, mainly Dolly vibes but, Selena, Will Nelson; some Texas Greats are represented around the shop too 😊 they offer merchandise from small businesses there too.
