Neon Moon Salon

This is my favorite salon to date, and Sara Ashlee Ballard gave me a life changing hair cut. I haven't liked my hair in years, and I finally have a cut that suits me and my low maintenance approach to hair. She is a great listener, and highly skilled! The salon itself is a very relaxing, easy place to be without the toxic chemical smell that hits you in the face in most salons. Highly recommend on all levels.

Am very grateful to have found this salon- I have not been this happy with a haircut in years. I completely validate everything that everyone has already written about the salon in general and about Krissy, specifically. She really does take the time to listen, to make you feel comfortable, and to educate - even made a point to follow up with me AFTER my appointment on some product recommendations we’d talked about. The online scheduling process was also very easy to use, even if you aren’t an established client. I wholeheartedly recommend Krissy for anyone looking for a new stylist. I certainly will be returning.

I love Krissy! She does an amazing job and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Knows what questions to ask to make sure you’ll feel totally comfortable with every step of the process. Very talented at cutting and styling bangs. She is incredibly kind, and will give you a great overall experience. Would recommend to anyone!! Salon is very nice and clean. Great atmosphere and decor 🙂

Krissy Funk was incredible. She is extremely intentional and has a wonderful eye for detail. She took her time to understand what style I was looking for and made me feel comfortable and confident through the whole process! I can't wait for my next appointment with her. I feel like I stylist I could stay with for a long time.

Had an amazing experience here. Anna did a fantastic job on my long thick hair and was a joy to be around. She is very attentive, caring, and skilled in her work. The salon’s atmosphere is comfortable and open. It was completely free of irritating chemicals from products in the air, which I dearly appreciated as a sensitive person. Highly recommend 🙂

Getting a haircut from someone new can be daunting, but Krissy gave me a ton of ease. She’s a great listener/communicator and spent time at the beginning to discuss all my goals. She worked from my inspiration photos (one of which was her own!) but tailored it to my specific hair perfectly. I will definitely ask for her again and recommend her to others!

i had the BEST experience. booking and consultation was the easiest process ive ever had. i sent them an emailing outlining my hair, goals, and any nerves i had. i have curls and love getting mullets and funky styles but it is always so hard getting both properly taken care at the same time. i was so well taken care and so welcomed, i honestly could not have had a better experience. skip walked me through each process and answered any questions i had with so much empathy and compassion but with excellent knowledge. i hope i can get my hair done here forever haha! it was around a 3 hour drive for me but i would do it all over again. 1000/10 experience
