Theresa got me so right! I hadn’t had my hair professionally cut in multiple years due to budget constraints and had just let it kind of go wild with only my unskilled hands trimming my bangs to keep it out of my eyes. I have really thick hair, to the point where it dreads on its own with thick tangles and I was so sick of damaging my hair by yanking full clumps out due to how knotty it was. Plus the ratty look that resulted from having uneven split ends that would perpetuate in a never ending cycle was really bothering me. When family asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I just said "salon, that’s all I want" lol. I heard that she was the one to go to if you have thick hair and I’m so glad I heeded that advice. She got my layers back up to fully healthy and face-framing, did a hair repair treatment that made it so soft and shiny, and made my hair from dry and frizzy to model-worthy. It really wasn’t that bad price wise too. I’ve been to salons with $200 minimums it feels like but Theresa gave me the same level of service for about half that, with a little extra thrown in for the hair repair treatment and tip. She was enthusiastic, super friendly, and I feel like my appointment breezed by with great conversation. Usually stylists complain about my hair and how it makes their wrists hurt and they take forever because they’re not sure how to approach my hair texture, but not Theresa. She cut my hair so quickly but at the same time not sloppily or rushed; I was so impressed. Perfectly efficient and gave me lots of advice on how to care for my hair and affordable product recommendations tailored to the natural curls I usually rock. 10/10 would recommend for cuts, blowout, hair repair, and good vibes! Theresa is highly talented! She always cuts my hair in ways that I absolutely love. This time she did a balayage over my henna. So good! She is knowledge on the best products for my hair. Her space is funky gorgeous! She’s so much fun to spend time with too! Always going to her! 😻

Theresa is so talented at creating layers in wavy hair! I absolutely love my layered haircut. She was able to take out some of the bulk from my thick/heavy hair, too, by using a special technique that doesn't require a razor or thinning shears. I'm so grateful for this, especially in this hot humid weather. I highly recommend Theresa -- I'm confident she's the best hair stylist for layered cuts in Asheville!

I’ve been going to Theresa for a couple of years for highlights extensions and hair cuts and I’m obsessed with my hair everytime I walk out! She did air touch highlights and extensions that blended flawlessy. She always uses amazing treatments on my hair to keep it healthy. Theresa is so easy to talk with. she is such a vibe she’s friendly , fun and outgoing. and really knows how to cut and style hair to fit you perfectly. not only are you getting pampered but your having a great time ! she’s a win win 🩷

I have social anxiety especially when at the hairstylist, and needed someone to take the time for me to slow down and figure out what I wanted, with opportunities to look and make changes in-between each step when necessary- Theresa blew it out of the water! She was informative and very helpful when booking the appointment (I needed an hourly rate with plenty of time, because my previous stylists' appointment had run way over the allotted window) When it came to the actual cut, I had a very unique idea, and by all means, this is not a conventionally good looking haircut- but instead of talking me out of it or around it, she helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly! I love it! I usually get my hair cut once every few years and trim it myself for a while, and knowing that, she explained what she was doing every step of the way and why. All in all, Theresa was very kind, patient, and informative, and very fun to talk to! Definitely recommend!
